V-Skill is Mika giving a wrestling monologue, and the longer it last the longer it buffs her attacks. Letting go throws the mic.

V-Trigger is the Nadeshiko tag team attacks. Attack driection depends on how you move the stick when it's activated.

I also don't get how people think the hearts were pasties. Pasties are for bare breasts. Those were just heart designs on her ludicrous costume.

To be fair, in this case it's actually done to exaggerate an action pose, which I think is how that sort of anatomy should be used.

Basically, the chest and butt pose is really terrible for static poses because it looks uncomfortable, but fine for conveying sudden rotational movement of the upper torso.

The game is quite a bit more barebones than SF4 in terms of mechanics, as far as I can tell so far. The competitive meta game will be interesting.

Not really. They removed proximity normals (which I've always thought of as too much in a fighter anyway) and FADC shit, along with crouch tech, harder links, and a few other minor things.

But they added V-Skills (adding a whole new gameplan to every single character, like Ryu getting a parry), V-Trigger (once again, adding a whole new gameplan to every single character and making a whole new meter management a thing), crush counter, V-Reversal (more defensive options), and easier links.

If anything, the variation between characters is at an all time high. You might not see crazy ass things like in Ultra because the dumb shit is getting removed. No more get out of jail free cards. Fundamentals are going to carry you farther.

It looks like they really put some thought in to making her move like a wrestler, she has a very different look and feel to her movement than the other characters.

I like the rainbow swirl effects, it gives her name a bit more of a meaning. I always though it was weird for a character with that name to have one of the least colorful outfits in the game.
