Yeah, I don't know what's happening with that. I cannot progress at all past the opening credits of the game. Tried restarts to no avail. I don't know what else to do.

Take disc out.

Delete the game from your hardrive.

Put the disc in.

Let it install fresh.

Leave the PS4 until the 'Information' option says it's fully installed.

This is what I'd recommend trying.

they did a charge when I first pre-ordered then they reverse it, they will charge again when it ships.


I have read on the BB forums that some peoples are getting backordered.

Ok I'm loving the game so far but one thing that is annoying me already is the camera when you crouch. It is way too close and a third of the screen is covered by snake. No options to change this either

I totally agree with this point. Sometimes I have to actually get up to see around me. The fact that the camera is based on the standing position of snake instead of his surroundings is annoying.

That's my only grievance with the game tho, aside from some pop-in problems that I expect not to experience in the PC version. But then again, I dont expect to have problems with the camera either once I mod it.

2. To me, the graphics look crisper and they redid the Grab CQC controls a bit. I cant remember exactly how they were in Ground Zeroes but you had to juggle 3 different buttons/sticks. Now its just grab someone, choose option with R3 and the pressing R3 down to select that thing.
3. The pacing, the start is very long and once it gets going you won't want to stop. I can't say anymore.

One thing I do want patched is D-Horse spawns. I was in a house and wanted to do the knock thing, accidently whistled for D-Horse and he spawned INSIDE the house making my getaway from a guard very hard to do... Luckily the guard slapped D-Horses ass to make him run out

OK, I might try that later.

I have a suspicion of what's going on. The disc will not spin when the game is being played—only when it is closed. I've left the PS4 in rest mode with the game suspended and I think I can hear the disc spinning.

I'll give it an hour or so and check back. If there's no luck, I'll uninstall and report back.

On the subject of the save import, did it say exactly what the save file gave you in TPP, or really any information/explanation at all?

I don't remember whether I enjoyed Ground Zeroes, and I couldn't bring myself to get past the first hour of Peace Walker.

MGS2 and MGS3 were amazing, however.

Do you think I should give MGS 5 a shot?
 
I'm going to be making a cqc video tonight. Just tips and tricks that I've found so far. You can really do some nifty things.
Btw if anyone has questions let me know

I haven't even played it – but yes. It's clearly Ground Zeroes on a giant scale with improved gameplay, controls and graphics plus an unprecedented amount of freedom and fun in the open world.

What sort of things?

Someone just mentioned that CQC options are now just flicking R3. That's an ingenious design decision.

I have no clue as I played GZ on PC and I snatched a PS4 copy yesterday. Wont be able to test that part until PC version arrives, hopefully someone else can answer your question.

In fact you open up the menu with L1, then you select with right joystick as you did before but now you confirm with R3 which kinda makes sense since we have at least twice as many options as we had in GZ
 
They've really done a great job at making CQC the best it's ever been. It's so fun to lay the smack down on enemies. Played for like 4 hours straight, the game is just incredible already.
