Boo. I ordered mine to work and they don't deliver tomorrow. I'm going to be very disappointed if it doesn't arrive today.
Tempted to just order from Simply Games and hope it arrives tomorrow.
EDIT: I caved. Ordered a second copy from Simply Games, hoping that arrives tomorrow. Otherwise, it wont arrive until Tuesday (if The Game Collection doesn't deliver today.)
If you're in the UK you can still buy the normal game from Simply Games in the next two hours and have it by tomorrow.

No such luck, I'm from Austria. I'll have to browse the bigger electronic stores either tomorrow or monday and check out if anyone's breaking the street date.
Or I'll just play the BLOPS 3 beta and Gears Ultimate in the meantime. Or start The Witcher 3, but then I don't want to tackle two big games at the same time.

Yeah, that definitely seems the case. I can't think of a ton of local shops to check too. There's RU Game, and Play N' Trade (which I think is a small chain, not a local thing), and the rest is just Gamestops in the area as far as Iknow.

Simply Games literally shipped my (second) copy about 3 minutes after my order was placed. That's insane.
Nearly as insane as me ordering two copies. I just wish I'd sent my first one home and not to the office. Going to sell the second one to a friend regardless, at mate rates, so will only lose a few quid for my impatience.

Was checking on ShopTos twitter feed there to see what the craic is with when MGS will be going out and some fella said he phoned up the general manager and was told they are getting sent out Saturday morning
That's cutting it waay too thin for me so Ive panicked & just placed an order with Simply Games, people seem to be getting them next day from those guys, I got my dispatch text literally 10 mins after placing my order, unreal!
I wouldnt mind at all just getting it on Tuesday, but with them sending it out Saturday, this bank holiday and how often our crap sorting office has made games (that were dispatched 2-3 days prior to release) come a day or two late for me I couldnt take the chance, if Tuesday came and it wasnt there id be straight down to Game/HMV on my bike to buy it
Ill just sell my extra copy to a mate or trade it in for Pro Evo when it comes out.

Well GAME UK surely do suck and if I didn't have Fallout 4 CE pre ordered from them then I don't think I would use them again.
Got a email on Tuesday to say that the MGS:V CE has been shipped get no tracking information what so ever and spent the past two days in in case it comes.
I understand the game isn't out till the 1st but don't email me a week before release date telling me its shipped and on 1st class post too which should only take like 2 days to come.

To maintain the ruse that he'd succeeded in his mission to kill the 'traitor', The Boss. The Philosopher's Legacy is real top secret, hush hush stuff that only the highest of the shadowy higher ups know about, but the Snake Eater mission was reasonably unguarded information in the intelligence community. The Russians knew the Americans were sending in an agent to get rid of The Boss and fix the Volgin situation, so a certain spectacle had to be made of rewarding that agent when he came back after a 'successful' mission. That's my take on it, at least.
She got a little bit blown up and floated in the ocean for a couple of weeks (GZ is set almost right after the ending of PW). Big Boss goes in to get her back so she can't reveal any information about Mother Base to Cipher.

Yeah you're right. The title has nothing to do with the Philosopher's Legacy. Besides, Ocelot winds up giving it to the US anyway. Half of it anyway.
DPD have recently begun delivering on Saturdays and Sundays. I'm hoping 1st will be enough too.

October 6 for competitive mp, the Dark Souls style FOB thing goes up Tuesday, I believe.
You can beat it in 8-11 hours or so. Maybe 12 max for a first play through.
