Hats off to Valve, this has been steadily maxing my connection at 5.8mb/s since I started it. Seattle server is best server. 22mins guys!
 
If it hasn't already been said, I would recommend playing the game in offline mode after you transfer over the GZ stuff till the Konami servers are in order. Being online makes iDroid such a hassle to use. You are waiting for a server callback in every menu. Fuck that.

Holy shit! LOL. My internet starting at like 7 PM only allows me to download at a max 500 kb a second due to traffic around me. I pay for for 9 MB a second download mind you. I seriously need to downgrade my internet since I don't get anywhere near the speed I pay for.
 
Getting a steady 6.2MB/s, awesome job Steam servers.

I played through GZ on PS4, I guess there is no way to do a save transfer with just a file on PC right? Seems the methods i've read up require you to upload through the game on PC.

edit: and then it wasn't funny no more. Had to hard reboot my PS4 due to my game not being able to close off anymore and a black screen that wouldn't go away. WTF.

I saw a couple of minutes and its not major but I enjoyed figuring the things they laid out myself. It will take away from the experience if you have a blueprint of how to make it easier.
 
Usually peak ~30 MB/s, both LA and West Africa failing me. :( Going to switch to Seattle or Toronto going by the users here.

It wouldn't be so bad but it's not even hitting 1 MB/s.
 
Omfg I'm soo jelly you all are playing the game already! Amazon says its getting prepared to ship so I'm guessing I won't play til Wednesday :'(
 
Average speed was ~7.5mbps which is a bit lower than what I'm used to but whatever, it's done now! Gonna play for a couple hours now, shame I probably won't have much more time to play today or tomorrow
 
WTF!!!!!!!

I stayed up for 2 hours to update my iPhone to the latest firmware for the MGSV app because it said it required it.

Now it says it is not compatible with my iPhone


WHY IS THE COMPANION APP NOT SUPPORTED ON THE IPHONE 5? All that is required is iOS 8+ for other models
 
is restarting from checkpoints not subtracted from your score at the end of the mission? It was in GZ. I just finished the prologue and I restarted from checkpoint once
