The greatest movie star of the 80's and 90's. He could barely act, but his delivery, timing, facial expressions, and all around bad assery, were so good.

by the way, what happened to arnold's action movies in the mid 90s? when you compare total recall, true lies and the last action hero to stuff like end of days, the sixth day and collateral damage, there seems to be something very off with the latter bunch. it's like all the joy was sucked out of them. i know that 80s-early 90s arnold certainly had better directors, but his later movies seem to be misguided from the start. i think eraser was the last that was sort of ok but still the beginning of the end.

he's too old now, but i feel like he wasted his last years of being a true action star with terrible projects.

Man, if we talk about Arnold's quotes.... You watch Commando. I mean, basically everything he says in this movie is classic. The dumbest greatest movie ever made.

If Schwarzenneger was born in the US and didn't have the Austrian accent, do you think he would have had the career he did?

Because when he's on screen, he looks like a man who is a man being a man. Dawg.

Screen presence. Always.

Nah man, the 90's simply weren't favorable to the kind of film Arnie specialized in making, which is why you saw all the meatheads dying off during that period. JCVD, Stallone and others also suffered. Sly ressurected the genre with 2008 Rambo, and then gave it more oomph with The Expendables, but 80`s meathead action films that survive on quips and gore don't exist anymore.

In a way, Arnie chose the right time to pursue a political career.

It's Total Recall ;)

That scene is one of the best replies to a hostage situation. It subverts a trope way before it even really got going. And then every film after decides to just go along with it and do what the hostage takers say.

Arnold was great.

Cocainehum.

Arnie's quotes are legendary, I gotta watch those 2 vids from time to time just for the sheer brilliance of them.

The greatest feeling you can get in a gym or the most satisfying feeling you can get in the gym is the pump. Let’s say you train your biceps, blood is rushing in to your muscles and that’s what we call the pump. Your muscles get a really tight feeling like your skin is going to explode any minute and its really tight and its like someone is blowing air into your muscle and it just blows up and it feels different, it feels fantastic. It’s as satisfying to me as cumming is, you know, as in having sex with a woman and cumming. So can you believe how much I am in heaven? I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym; I’m getting the feeling of cumming at home; I’m getting the feeling of cumming backstage; when I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. It’s terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven.
