We know that we'll get reveals at TGS & the Brazil Game Show. Reveals are also expect by fans, but not 110% confirmed, at New York Comic Con, the Paris Game Show, & PlayStation Experience. Basically, expect the entire base roster to be revealed before the end of the year.

Bland is a word that serves little purpose when discussing a roster though. To me, Juri is bland. It's all subjective.

Everyone has different tastes. Certain aspects of a character that you might find uninteresting may be exactly what draws someone else to that same character.

This is fair but I think even you have to recognize that "Abel = bland" is not an uncommon opinion
