The only thing that scares me is how bad the Xbox one store handles add ons. No way to sort them.

Recently, I was downloading dance central DLC that I had the license to from previous gen purchases and I had to go through over 100 individual songs, install, it pushes you out into the games manager, then when you return to the add ons page, resets your position back to the first dlc add on.

I hope the rb4 store is pretty concise and maybe even let you queue up several songs (similar to how dance central 3 did it). Or, maybe release the dlc earlier than the game so we have some time to prepare lol. I have over 800 official dlc and that doesn't even include the exports.

Well..............at least I have the Xbox Live service to back my downloads for all those songs hahahaha......gosh that's sad.

Hopefully batch DLC will be fixed by then on the xbox one because its worst than the 360 download a ton of DLC or items. Boots you all the way back to Queue'ed whenever you hit download on an item and resets where you were in the store most of the time.

Redownloading should be not that bad. I'm just gonna queue every thing up from the website. Though hopefully they implement some kind of "restore purchased content" feature.

Rock band 2's setlist was so good, that they gave everyone 20 extra free songs later on for registering the game.

I wonder what the new DLC schedule is going to look like.

Kind of weird that I just stopped playing this on 360 but still have everything for it and now I'm excited to play it again just because it's on a new console. I wish my exports and purchases were on PSN though, I don't really like using my One.

Ok so I just got back from my friends house after using his 360 to buy DLC with credit, and I bought Blitz too for the extra songs for RB4.

Question about the Blitz songs - I have the Rock Band Blitz soundtrack in my download history, but when I was on the Rb Store the songs on the set list were not showing as purchased (at least when I was checking Moves Like Jagger by Maroon 5) - is that normal? I was worried I screwed it up.

you're fine. if they were downloaded on the hdd itself it'd say IN LIBRARY, but the store can't detect that you own them via Blitz since the blitz pack isn't in the store's data

I need to update myself on this. Are they releasing new instruments? I want a new drum set with cymbals. I've never owned the cymbals because I had a RB1 kit.

Actually, I should work on getting a non-laggy TV first... It's one reason I stopped playing.

I do have my official Rock Band USB hub stashed away, the one that came with the band in the box bundle originally. Might dig that out for parties, just slot them all into the side rather than the back.

Isn't that the one without the power supply? Because your probably going to want the one with the power supply. Some Mics draw a bit. I use a shureSM58 and it draws a good amount to make sure the system can pic up your voice

Mine has a plug with a circular pin connector that slots in the side, so it's all good!

One thing I suggested for the OT was make a community friends list on both PS4 and X1, but this kinda goes out the window a little without online play.

RB 2 - If you exported it into RB3, you have it, otherwise you'll have to count on being lucky to find a EA support team member having a good day.
RB 3 - "Being looked into"
LEGO - If you've exported, you have it, otherwise it's gone
GD RB - Export officially ended, keys may still work, all songs are available as DLC

Just played RB3 for the first time in a while. My five year old son doesn't even remember banging on the drums (or coloring them with crayon) when he was a little younger =(. Makes me sad thinking about the things they forget if not constantly reminded.

Anyway, what does linking accounts do and what is that set of numbers and letters on the back of the manual/booklet? I'm finally hyped for RB4 but I'm so behind.

is there a website that says how? I'm only getting it on XBone so I don't lose my songs, but obviously none of those files are on the new console. What's the process for downloading the new ones, and please for the love of god let us download them all at once. I don't want to spend three days pressing download on every single song

They haven't explicitly laid out the process but we do know that they're having to go through all the old songs and basically resubmit them to the new marketplace. The game will use your purchase history (probably) to figure out what songs you own. Hopefully it's a quick, painless process through an in-game tool.

Guitar Hero 2, with Wayward Son on Medium. That song just felt so GOOD to play. Then I broke through the Expert wall with Sweet Child O Mine.. SCoM is the first song I always play whenever I boot up GH2. Good memories. The first time I nailed the intro on Expert I had to call my brothers into the room and do it again, lol

Then afterwards, Rock Band's "that one song" to me is In Bloom. Fun to sing, great beat, doable on expert on any instrument without being boring.. and then you laugh because you realize Harmonix made a meta-joke by selecting that song. (it's the band's song complaining about people singing their songs)


Then of course, Green Grass and High Tides will always be the "boss song' for me. No music game for me since on either the RB or GH side has had a "boss song" again.

Yeah, this for sure. I was never good enough for TTFATF, but GGAHT was the first song that I practised over and over and over again until I finally nailed it. Best feeling ever when I did.

I think that's a good bet. Their previous packs have been pretty popular and incredibly fun to play. I really hope we do get another one.
