Joe and Mike are blank slates they can turn into anything. But I hardly consider them characters due to how bland they were.
Retsu would be cool and I actually wanted him as a Makoto replacement.
Don't think it's known. He's based on ancient Greek Olympians, had a stage in Egypt in 2I when he was with the Illuminati, then a stage in Mexico in 3S when he defected or tried to take over iirc. He and Gill were born into the Illuminati, weren't they?

Eagle and Oro are not just "popular" they're actually regular popular too. (At least according to the EventHubs poll from this year.)
Karin incoming... her counter would be dope, and maybe some complex Rekka combinations could make her the "technical" character we heard about.

Karin was top 1 in the Japanese charecter popularity list.
Karin is the only Japanese character to be announced from the Siliconera (remaining chars) and Ken Bogards (new chars) leaked character lists.
They just announced a brand new character so it's likely to announce another returning one.
One of his attacks matches with the teaser image. Ono shown red shoes the other day.

Karin is my # 1 wanted character and I think TGS would be the place for her to be announced if she's in the initial roster. I also don't want to get my hopes up so I'm just gonna assume somebody else is getting announced.
You pretty much confirmed it was her. He wants people to doubt
Also people mention that list way too much, if it did matter they would at least look at the American popularity list and see Q sky high and we would have q but he's weird looking (I guess? Not really)
