It was described more as 4 characters we haven't seen in a while, and not really not-SF2.

If it weren't for the Silionera rumor, it would look really bleak for those 2 based on the recent interview comments, so it's still a bit of a mystery.

That's what I want to know next.

Also thank god for a new stage and the Brazil one coming too.

I don't really see Nash in the exact same situation (though I do appreciate you calling him the Alpha hero, because I agree!), that chart I think is still giving off the wrong impression a bit.

With this reveal I feel more confident than ever that Alex and Urien are in, whether it be in the core 16 or 16+ boss.

I definitely think Urien will be the boss regardless, unless they just make it Necalli which would be kind of weird. Necalli/Bison team up? Super Necalli? Either way Urien should show up in story mode, and I don't see why Alex can't show up in story mode.

But it still seems really weird to me to section the alpha characters into that little bubble and then add even Alex into the box with characters who have basically been in every non-SF3 game since SF2. Add in that we had those older rumors about Gief and Sim, the fact that a "real" grappler was hinted at, and that fact that there's still no long range defensive dude...

So capcom's whole strategy is to keep everyone coming back to SFV by releasing more played/popular characters as DLC.

While at the same freshening up the roster with the base game.

- seriously that fucking stage better be in this updated build because I need more of it immediately
- Karin's redesign is pretty damn good on the whole. The outfit is classy. Similar, but upgraded; it looks like her signature look grew up with her, which is great. Hair looks like curly fries though lol.
- There is something really fucking weird about how most of the blonde characters look, and I think it has something to do with bright lighting. Maybe it's their hairlines...? Hard to pinpoint.

But fuck yes, Karin looks sick. And now that she's revealed, the Hype Train has a new theme song. Or two.

We don't know what Zen fights like, and we just got like our third or fourth Japan person. I'd be cool with Guile or Sagat too though.

It's not just Ryu/Ken though. It's commonplace throughout the series.

I don't think Ingrid is suddenly off the table because Karin wears stockings and a blazer now. And Ingrid could always get a new outfit too. If Karin starts doing ballet, maybe.

I want to believe, but Capcom's comments of "characters you'd expect" kinda throw the other half of the leak into doubt. That plus Alex & Urien were listed separately (though their article was the first to go up).
