Alex is like utterly pointless as far as story goes in this initial roster, and how there is no Guile when Nash is back from the dead and even plays completely different is just stupid.

Or maybe everyone is wrong in assuming all characters share the same story. It's totally possible (and more logical/easier to handle) that different characters can share stories, but can also be completely indpendant from each other story wise. That way they're not beholden to including everyone remotely plot relevant, and can write and choose characters with more leniency.

Aside from core cast + Sagat + Bison + Akuma for Alpha 1
And also They added Gief + Sim in Alpha 2.


Theres really no pattern or anything. SF3 was just an exception. It was originally supposed to be a brand new cast then they backtracked and addded Ryu and Ken. Then added Chun for 3s.

Console Vanilla had 4 yes , but you gotta see in comparison to the TOTAL number of characters.

Console vanilla had about 10% Alpha. SF 5 seems to have roughly 1/4th the cast as Alpha.

I want there to be a chapter based story mode like MK 9 , they can add new Story chapters for DLC characters.

or if they add Cody/Guy you unlock the Final Fight chapter.

What I think folks are gong to be doing around the time of sf6 is asking for focus attacks back and a more defensive game. In opposition to 5.

Yo that Boss had the sickest Final Boss stage/theme ever..... Seths lab was a POS.

It would be EPIC in SF5 , with the Shadoloo logo being formed by the clouds when lightning hits it will be visible.

Yeah like the entire story, the story keeps cutting to a privete beach and a beach home. And some Preteen/Teenagers birthday part, and they keep focusing on a red head teenager. And her mom is top body is out of frame you never see her face you just see like a large braid swaing as she in a chair. or Maybe she has a new hair style, maybe you just see yellow shades on a counter.

And during a lot of those scene's she keeps getting calls from like chun li, because she stopped doing field agent stuff, but she's the only one who can use her super suit. And She's super good at being a spy and Chun li needs the CIA's help. The last of teh cut scenes Chun li says her peice flat hang up. And then the mom walks outside to her daughter and is like " Honey, after we get back mom has to go on another business trip"


Or there is like a court case going on during the entire story, describing how a certain vandal is more dangerous locked up than he is outside. So the judge sentences him to not jail. But he has to do community service in the form of beating bad guys up.


It sucks because I know this story isn't going to be as elaborate as my imagination. Be lack luster , per the usual.

Alex, Vulva and Network strongly believe that we are getting Dhalsim and Zangief for two classic character spots, when n3ss implied that it was a misdirection. (Please correct me if I'm wrong)

Whats wrong in having 2 Indian characters when there are 3 from Japan. 2 from US and 2 from UK.

Zen could very well be from another country. The leak only stated Zen is from South Asia. not India. It is also one of the most culturally diverse countries , Zen doesnt have to be anything like Dhalsim.

She seems more fast paced and has way more moves than focussing ONLY on grapples.

I am talking about the usual Slow giant grappler type like Gief,Hawk,Hugo.

Thats why akuma is oni now, and you make him even weirdier onu/gouken

Wont be surprised if Akumas Vtrigger is a permanent Oni and it gives him a new moveset.

Infact they should go FULL super saiyan and give him two V triggers , one to make him Shin Akuma and you can build another and transform into Oni.

God, I am so tired of Capcom shoving Akuma down our throats for the last 20 years I hope they let him breath for launch at least...but considering how much money he'll make as DLC I doubt it'll be for long.
