She was saving it for Venom. Probably.
Also, strange how only the naked variant of the fatigues has an actual radio earpiece (think the sneaking suit has one as well).

How to take over the world.

Even Battle Gear looked more advanced than that.
God this game has the worst story by in a MGS game. 40+ hours to go right back to where we were at the end of Peace Walker.
I asked someone if the badass leather jacket and motorcycle made it into the game. They said hardly. But then, I see someone post a gameplay pick wit snake wearing that badass jacket. How does one unlock such?
It still hilarious that Liquid basically hijacked Shadow Moses where a very similar looking Metal Gear made by the son is there. It's yet another bad "connection/coincidence". Rex is just a weaker version of Sahelanthropus (which is way overpowered for a MG made at this part in the timeline).

You spend the game building a new mother base after the one you made in Peace Walker got destroyed
Uh, what mission did you finish the game with?Just finished it. Was dreading the ending because of the negative sentiment on Gaf.
But I fucking loved it.
I can see how people who wanted a big chunk of lore filled out would be mad but I'm glad I didn't get what I expected and glad Kojima didn't feel too beholden to his fans to deliver an insane twist.

In the middle of this, what do you guys think of their opinions? Agree or disagree?
I just got the real ending.
What the hell is this.
One consequence of that final twist is that, because Venom Snake is literally a player surrogate, any calling out of Venom would be a direct attack on the player. Kojima wasn't interested in that.I remember I made a post way back when, saying that the game already felt wholly unnecessary by spelling out the MGS chronology, and someone responded to me theorizing that MGSV was Kojima's way of taking Big Boss down the whole Breaking Bad path (and I'm pretty sure Kojima has stated as much in the past since he loves the show). But the reason that "works" in Breaking Bad is because no one in that series ever assumes that Walter White is a good guy, or even justified. He's a diabolic mastermind existing within a facade, and the closest people to him, especially the closest people he works with, are always the most questioning of that while eating themselves away inside at their compliance. MGSV has... none of that, and I almost feel like Kojima is way too attached to Big Boss to call him out. I don't even really want a better conclusion since there's not really much I want explained. I just want a better narrative. The story is the equivalent of a garish and loud party van, aimlessly driving around until someone gets kicked out for not telling the driver that they drank the entire punch bowl, only to immediately resume afterwards.
Seems like Japanese opinions are pretty divided as well.

I wonder if they're focusing on all the same negative points that we do.
"It did fell in why evil "hero" Bikkubosu "This time of Metal Gear. It plays a role to fill in the last piece of the story of Metal Gear that. "
It had been issued extensively in advertising in the direction of the official of that. Speaking of "Bikkubosu" It is a presence that can not be removed is on to tell the story of Metal Gear. His it should towards the probably most of the Metal Gear fans in a number of heroic drama are engraved deeply in my heart. MGS3, OPS that drew his success, PW, and, myself every time the saga is revealed of "Bikkubosu" had felt the addition of is gradually increasing depth to the Metal Gear story that we have ever played. The presence of "Bikkubosu" that "man" is the so overwhelming. And this time it deviates from the hero road he has been accomplished up to now, the process to become outer Haven chieftain "BIGBOSS" which forms the enemy in the world is drawn. His was honestly disgusting and to know this truth. Hero Of himself, he saved the world. It is scary really to engrave the deployment of such a hero is evil in this eye. But I want to know. What of him, dropped the snake to rock bottom. Knowing it, feelings will be larger than now for the man perspective, that Bikkubosu yourself against the world of Metal Gear. I thought so."
The true ending is worth doing that whole prologue thing again, it fits the Metal Gear Solid themes and makes it all ring harmonious even if plotwise it's kinda messy. I mean, how the heck did FOXHOUND got setup with big boss as its leader?! That is indeed messy, but whatever

Eh
I think they give the story too much credit, overall.
Ponytail>>>>>>MulletWhy is there normal snake mullet hair here and not the god awful pony tail?

Ryuhan said:The legendary Cobra Unit returns! Metal Gear is complete!
This work allows you to experience all of the emotions the Cobra Unit felt on the battlefield.
As you play, the story that makes you want more, the new systems, new characters, new maps, and ability to infiltrate however you like will bring you The Joy.
As you enter chapter 2, something seems amiss. The main ops don't advance the story.
Then when the credits suddenly roll, you think "Huh? Wha? It's over? There must be more, right?" and feel The Fear.
Finally, once the story truly does reach The End, that fear turns to something like a feeling of emptiness or grief -- The Sorrow.
Eventually that sorrow becomes The Fury with Konami and Director Kojima that you can't avoid and can't deny.
"I was waiting to find out the reason why Big Boss fell to evil! Come the fuck on! Finish this thing properly!"
But all that screaming is pointless. You know that Konami and Director Kojima are gone...
Then, you feel The Pain of knowing that this story can never be told again.
The story is lost. Your feelings for this series are lost.
This must be The Phantom Pain that we will suffer from now on.
So, I give it 1 star.
Well, here's what the top review says:
So pretty much, yeah.
The twist itself isn't bad. I'd even argue that Kojima not filling in all the blanks isn't bad either. It's just that it's not really a conclusion to the story in the game, and that the game itself just didn't have many character arcs or stories.
What does Venom learning that he's not Big Boss mean to his character? What does building diamond dogs mean in that universe? What was the reason we did anything?
None of that is given any weight and that's my problem. People shrugging it off and saying "oh, it's a great twist so it doesn't matter that it doesn't connect to the other games" are entirely missing the point.

Mullet only looks good with the bandana

I never noticed this !!
So what we discussing today guys?
Solid Snake, the One True Hero of the series, rocked the mullet better than Venom rocks that shitty ponytail, even in his old age. Even Big Boss recognizes how terrible Venom's ponytail is by sticking with the mullet. Ergo, mullet wins.

It unlocks for development when you get the codename Big Boss key item which is given at the end of episode 46. You just have to develop it, I think for a really low sum of GMP and 0 minutes.I asked someone if the badass leather jacket and motorcycle made it into the game. They said hardly. But then, I see someone post a gameplay pick wit snake wearing that badass jacket. How does one unlock such?
Shorthair Snake is still the best looking.

He was also the coolest as a character. He was kind of an abrasive dick and it worked.
