Do the SF3 stages necessarily line up with nationality in all cases? Sean's NG stage was in USA, IIRC and Urien's 2I stage was Egypt.
Not in Urien's case, since he's Greek. Though the fact that Urien's main stage across 2I & 3S jumped across the Atlantic Ocean can be attributed to the ever-extending reach of the Illuminati's influence.

High/low/crossup/throw is not 50/50, and invincible backdashes are cheesy. Nothing looks dumber than a safe backdash in the corner. He sounds like an 09er to be honest, did he play SF prior to 4? May be a little fear of the unknown going on there.
Mexico could be Urien or...it could be nothing. Although if Ono is flying there, you'd think it would be for some kind of "significant" announcement.
Yeah, her father was a German doctor that worked with the tribe or something.

Well Daigo did own Smug's high/low wake up game by either back dashing or focusing. They both nullify highs and lows. SFV doesn't really have anything universal like that. You have alpha counters but you have to block successfully before initiating one.
So yeah, someone who spend most of their SF time with SFIV might feel lost.
People like Daigo, Momochi, Tokido etc. won't care though, they will adapt fast to a new SF like they always do.

He looks like he will be tough at first, but his mixup seems honest. The player has to be creative, I saw nothing spammable so far. I don't mind a character always rushing you down into 50/50 , I have fun fighting good Makoto players. But I don't like just guessing all the time either, like you have to do with elf. I think the twins are just too good in Sfv as well. Pretty much has an answer for everything, I wish the whole cast was like that, but sfv has characters really weak in certain areas.
The Street Fighter V Panel is actually on October 10th rather than the 9th. Just throwing this out there in case I wasn't the only one who was confused about the date.
As such, Laura should at least have a 2 day gap between her & whoever we're getting at NYCC.

It'd take about 10 hours to fly from Brazil to NYC. But yeah, Ono would have to use Instant Transmission to get to NYC before the 9th with time to spare.
They'll probably just use generic licensed music for his trailer like the other characters. But don't worry, if Alex is in the game, he'll get his Jazzy NYC theme.If Alex is real I pray somebody @ Capcom has the good sense to attach Jazzy NYC to his trailer.

It'll probably easier for Ono to get a flight to NYC since he doesn't have a strict time table to get to NYCC. That plus Laura has some more breathing room as far as her reveal goes.
And yeah, I can't wait for NYCC, either.
Yeah, having it on the 10th makes multiple things better like breathing space for Laura and for Ono to have a bit more of a rest. Poor guy's gonna drop once the game ships.
