They could bring this douche back as adult Sean, or a friend of Ken's or something. He looks like a shoto, so cut off Ryu's head, change the skin tone and voila you got a nice new DLC character for all the people who like half the roster to be shoto variations.They could easily bring back this earlier design of Rufus and make him his own character, along with being the butter ball's protege.

Every once in a while, I forget he is in the game.
I actually like Vega as a character, I find him alot of fun in any anime he's in, or manga or comic. If they could bleed his psychosis into his gameplay somehow I think people would like him more.

Well, there's 4 characters left and there's 4 events in October so it's somewhat possible the DLC plans will start as early as November. I believe the game will launch in February so we should be hearing about DLC characters by January.
Also, since we aren't even on the 2nd beta I think it's likely the 3rd beta will have the full roster.
Is the Paris Game Show the 4th event, & will Ono be there?

Glad to hear SFV is like a mix of SFIII and Alpha, my two favorite games. Honestly in my opinion, the only SF that really felt different to play was IV. I mean while all games had their unique mechanics and functions, I could go back in between all of them. But then again it did take me a while to find a perfect config for IV, but even still, shit feels weird.
Also Sean is the only shoto who can wear two different colors (pants and top) and basketball is a necessity, especially for those who like to keep their opponents on their toes. Throw a ball on knockdown.

though that Matador short indie film made me turn around on him a little bit

3rd Strike is one of the best fighting games to date, and certainly one of the top when it comes to excellent 2D animation.

Absolutely, especially with PS3's free online multiplayer. It is on sale from time to time, I've seen it as low as $3.75 but I wouldn't know when that's going to happen again.

There are already plenty of cool females that wouldn't turn into megabitches with his personality and Vega would still trail behind Ibuki, Makoto, Alex, Urien, Dudley, the Twins, Gill and Q in the popularity department. Honestly, he'd probably be a bit more popular than Twelve and Necro, but that is it. At best he'd hope to be Oro tier.
Vega is the definition of forgettable. Nobody would even remember him if it weren't for the movie where he got his shit pushed in violently by Chun Li for being a creeper.
Well they need to port it first. And make a Steam version, while you're at it, Iron Galaxy/Capcom!

That is spot on in my case, and the way he looked in that movie is pretty much the only time he looked badass to me.
None of the SFII characters are forgettable.

I think you are severely overestimating the popularity of those 3s characters while underestimating ST as a whole. Those claims might be true for the FGC (even then they're bold) but not for the general public. Not even close.

Vega was one of the most striking characters in SF2 IMO lol
The mask, having a weapon, wall jumping everywhere, the best fucking stage in SF2, his squeaky voice,, the naming debacle, etc. You might not like him - I sure don't - but saying he's forgetable is some delusional shit.
