Street Fighter V minimum and recommended PC specs

Will I be able to run it with this?

Not very knowledgeable with this sort of thing. I ordered it for PS4 so it's not like it matters much, but just curious just in case I decide to double dip,

I need to know what the GPU is.

Edit: Honestly, nobody can tell if whatever you have will be enough for SFV anyways. There have been games where the recommended specs are way inflated and in some cases where even the recommended specs weren't close to being enough. I guess we'll know during the beta how well it runs.

Uhhh, it's "NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 960M 2GB GDDR5"
And I see. I guess I'll wait for the beta and see how people run that.

They decided that AMD users might as well give up now?
Fuck, my fx-6300 is useless in this one, isnt it?

I just want 60fps on all settings minimum.
I Was ready for a new GPU. What I was not ready is building a brand new pc :(

We don't know, it not being listed in the system requirements means nothing.

The game does not seem to warrant a fast CPU, I reckon you'll be more than fine.

It's a hard assessment to make. Your GPU is comparable to a PS4's (please correct me if I'm wrong someone) so I guess it boils down to how well the game scales between platforms. You're about the minimum spec range. Fingers crossed for a smooth beta!

Dude just look at the CPUs they have listed and compare your CPU to it. FX-6300 looks like its more than enough to run it;

Not worried about the port, it will be fine. I just hope the netcode isn't complete 100% dogshit like all the other Capcom fighting games on Steam.

A 960M is well over the capabilities of a PS4. It will be able to play at that consoles fidelity without too much of a hassle.

I'm a complete fucking idiot. How much more powerful is this to SF4? I can run that decently. On max I get about 55fps with dips into the 40s.

if you're not getting 60fps that's not decent at all dude. like, for actually fighting someone.

Minimum recommended CPU being an i3-4160 sounds a bit steep, that's a very new chip. Meanwhile the minimum GPU is from 2010.

Well, aside from needing an upgrade as others have already said, you need to turn your graphics settings down until you are comfortably over 60 fps( like 70-80 fps) in SF4, then switch to the setting to hard lock the game to 60 fps no matter what.

People! The Beta is online only! NOT the actual game.... It's just like the Beta on PS4: Focus on testing the netcode, and in this case, the cross platform netcode.

I'm not buying into the 960 being recommended for 1080p/60fps. It doesn't look that much better than SFIV and that can run on a potato.

Do people really play fighting games on PC? I am genuinely curious.

It looks quite a bit better than SFIV to me. I hated the way 4 looked.

Yes, but I found that there are typically a lot less people online on PC vs. Console.

For example, Ultra has more people playing on PS4 than on PC. I could barely find anyone on PC.

Same with Mortal Kombat 9 a few years ago when I got it. 100% dead on PC. Couldn't find a single person. And this was shortly after a sale.

PC beta crossplay so soon. Awesome.

The playerbase for SF4 isn't as big on PC as it is on console, but I've been playing on PC since 2010 and I've never had trouble finding players. It's definitely gonna be nice not having a split playerbase for SF5 though.

Sure, my 360 arcade stick works fine on PC and I don't have to pay money for online play. Can't wait for Killer Instinct and Street Fighter 5 myself.

I'm sitting comfortable with these system requirements, my rig: i7 980x @4.0GHZ, 12GB DDR3 1600MHZ, GTX 970.

MK9 was a late port and MKX was a bad port

Good thing sfv has cross play. I experienced the same

I play Ultra once in awhile on PC and never have any problems getting games in Ranked or Player matches.

This link even mentions there were around 58k~ playing in the last 2 weeks, and a peak count of 1,336 players yesterday.

I've NEVER had problems finding matches on USFIV in North Carolina or in California. I'm sure less populated areas of the world might have issues though.
