I knew someone who was a Korean War veteran and they absolutely hated MASH.
Well, it turned into a preachy anti-war show that was more about Vietnam than Korea, so I can see that. lol

I just think it's one of the stronger television shows in terms of what it did with the medium. The only gimmick they didn't really do, since it wouldn't make sense given how they shot the show, is the live episode.

Whatever cognitive dissonance it takes to keep this gem on the air is fine by me.

Well, money is money. We're eventually going to hit the tipping point where OnDemand (ESPECIALLY OnDemand, since they have unskippable commercials) and digital dollars eclipse anemic ratings. I don't know if we're there yet, but I do think we're getting to a point where there will be a show that will go on long-term on broadcast where the majority of its revenues come from non-linear streams oh my god the buzzwords i just used help kill me now

Quantico was much better than I was expecting. Not sure what they'd do in season 2 but season 1 looks like it'll be fun.

I noticed the other day that Eddie Huang stopped narrating his show... so at least he's disengaging from it completely. I assume all the stuff for season 1 was already recorded when he did the work for that.

It kinda looks like the audience has rejected Blood & Oil when the ratings dip like this:

Once Upon a Time 1.8
Blood & Oil 1.4
Quantico 1.9

Not a super encouraging start for Quantico, though, even if it is a 10 p.m. show.

How many more seasons will they squeeze out for Once Upon A Time.

Quantico was great, though again I wonder if it is something that really needs a second season. I love whodunit mysteries.

Scream Queens should... be on a different channel.

You mean FX? Because if it was on FX with American Horror Story, I'd watch it. I haven't watched Fox as a channel since they canceled Joss Whedon's Dollhouse.

For someone who really doesn't know shit about ratings with the exception of viewers count, is that good for LMOE, or just kinda eh?

just watched the trailers for Blood and Oil and Quantico. Quantico looks up my alley, no interest whatsoever in B&O tho. Already have way too much to watch as it is

If it was on another network, it'd be terrible, but since everything except Empire and Football is down on FOX, it's kind of eh.

And CSI ended with a whimper... no one cared. lol

It was okay. It was CSI as fuck though, and basically no one on the current cast really got anything to do over the original cast showing up and getting their happy(ish) endings. Fine with me IMO.

I didn't notice that Elizabeth Shue wasn't there... but I did notice that they didn't bother to even mention the Nick Stokes character.
It was funny how they justify the dude going to Cyber. "Welp, she wants me there so I guess I'm going to move." lol

But yeah, Lady Heather was probably the most iconic aspect of the show so why not.

I was laughing because he was not very good with computers but is gonna join CSI Cyber?

Amazing

Love how after 15 years the CSI LV formula hasn't changed where the CSIs are doing interrogations or do breaches and shit and there's no regular detective on cast either. Even after the other CSIs sorta fixed that.

Predictions?

Blood & Oil - 2.4 (1.4)

Quantico - 2.6 (1.9)

+1.0

+0.7

I wasn't expecting Once Upon a Time to collapse by nearly 50%, and thus, anticipated a much bigger lead in for both Blood & Oil and Quantico.

It's pretty good - on par with the rest of Fox's lineup for the night and on par with the back half of the first season.

I saw Limitless the other night and I really liked the pilot, but then again I really liked the movie as well. It's cool that it's not a re-imagining, but takes place in the same continuity. And that
Bradley Cooper's character has kept busy over the last 4 years

Of course the show will live or die on the procedural aspects and we know nothing about that yet.

Similarly I thought I would hate Minority Report, but I found the pilot pretty OK. Again I liked the movie and was happy the show takes place in the same continuity.

Finally I also saw Blindpot, it was also OK, but I liked it less than the other 2. The pilot was way too predictable, but that was to be expected I guess. I'm interested to see how it develops, since they could do a lot with the premise.

All 3 shows feels somewhat similar, but at the same time different enough that I'll give them a shot.

Watched the first ep of Rosewood, it's pretty bad but I was kinda into it lol. I dug the lead guy

Minority Report's world building is the worst thing ever.

The main suspect has a PhD in Pick Up Science! And from Harvard (but not the online campus!).

One of the characters remembers Beyonce, she's an oldie!

Almost Human did it better but brahs just couldn't show how crime changed in the future even though it was its premise....

wow how to get away with murder had so many twists!!!! at first i was like :o and then i was like :O because there was another twist. i will talk about this #show at my watercooler and on #social media

Season 1 or 2? I've watched 2 eps of Season 1 now, it's...intriguing. I like the main actress / character

watching the reaction to bisexual Annalise was definitely something.

it still boggles my mind that sleepy hollow is coming back for another season....just ...WTF? out of the shows that have come and go on fox this shows remains on the air?

Quantico pilot was meh.... :/
Yeah, show is not very interesting.
All the characters ever only talked in cliches and I want them all to die.
I would also have preferred the show to have flashforwards to the future instead of flashbacks to the present.

Not sure if sarcasm :D

I actually hated the first season until half way through - my wife kept making me watch more with her. But then the second half of season one
after time catches up with the murder
- it goes on steroids with twists and turns and doesn't let up. I ended up loving it.

It's almost as good as the Law and order TV Trilogy of SVU, CI, and Mothership. But not as good as the CSI trilogy or the NCIS trilogy.
