I just want Sagat's OG Thailand stage. Is that so much to ask?!?
So, does the newly teased stage contain anything found in R.Mika's art (to keep testing the theory that all the backgrounds in the official character art gives a hint about that character's eventual stage)?
I'm not sure. Maybe the stands filled with the crowd? It does look a bit like it could be a wrestling ring, no? Maybe this shows a different side of her wrestling stage then?
If it doesn't have any elements found in her art (especially in the final version, not just in this tease), I'm guessing it probably won't be her stage despite her presence. It could be Alex's, though I'd rather see him share Ken's New York stage as hinted at in Ken's art. Like some others have said, Zangief would fit well in this new stage if we go by the industrial look, but that might be a bit too on the nose perhaps.

maybe there's like a 'gritty' variant and then one where the arena is set-up more suitably for R. Mika? since that stage appears to be indoors (possibly underground), maybe that'll be the answer for the lack of day/weather cycle. you can make out similar steel girders on the left side in the tease pic and the top of Mika's wallpaper.

Yea, this sounds like a good theory. Two arena kinda stages would be too samey. That said I'm starting to think the background aren't actually stages in the game, well for the most part.
The angle used in the Karin tease is different from the actual game right? I imagine they use a free cam or whatever you call it.

I don't know if it's relevant for the second beta, but SFV will be playable in a Paris event next week, with 12 characters including Karin and Rashid.

I highly, highly doubt it. I know someone said they heard a rumour about a character reveal happening before Brazil, but every time Ono mentions Mexico on Friday he talks about autograph sessions and nothing else. I just don't see a reveal happening until Brazil on the 8th.
EDIT: The most I expect at Mexico is a stage reveal. Nothing else. I'm 99% positive the next character reveal will be Brazil.
