Ya'll really need to take a breather, sodium levels are too damn high. And I say this as someone that hates Gief.
My point is moreso how they're promoting it as a game with a unified player base, a unified back end and probably back end DLC with the F2P unlock methods, and if they miss a simultaneous release for it, it will hurt the game. There are a lot of people, including myself, looking forward to playing this game on Day 1 on PC. If Capcom said 'we're delaying the PC version 2-3 months to focus on the PS4 version for Tournament season' it'd make a lot of people pretty sour, and would go against their unified online marketing to promote the long term growth of the game.
I'm not saying it will happen, but I don't think it should given how they've positioned it thus far.

Absolutely delighted with that Zangief trailer. He looks magnificent. I love that he cuddles you close to let you know he has "Muscle-power for you!" before he crushing your bones with muscle and power.
The new air grabs look excellent too.
I do hope we get a long-limbed zoner in the initial cast; if not 'sim or Necro (I want Necro very, very much) then maybe one of the newcomers could have troublesome, range-y normals for strong keepaway.

I wasn't even involved with that shit. I changed it because I'm sick of people taking the piss out of me and my favorite characters because they look at my avatar and see an easy target.

it's weird that you are so sensitive about this considering he's been regarded as a borderline joke character for a long time, especially by 3s players cuz he's so ass in that game (tier list will always factor into perceptions for people who actually play the game). just embrace it.

This make me really happy. Hope Alex is still in at launch though.
it's just odd to see someone get touchy about sean getting cracked on since people have been mocking sean for like a decade. I mentioned the tier list because that's a large part of why he's perceived as laughable. people will always say he's ass if only for that reason. it seems like you don't really understand the context of people finding it easy to dump on sean. I'm not sure if you played much 3s or w/e, but it's practically tradition (as is dumping on low tier characters in any games).

I don't see the difference. Being hyped to see a character you've seen before who may or may not work well for you in a new game vs the hype of having no idea of what to expect from a character and exploring new things seems, if nothing, like the latter is way more exciting.

It's not even about Sean, dude. I used to have an Alex avatar but I had to change it because people would start giving me shit during arguments and telling me that Alex was shit-tier and shouldn't be in the game. I changed it to Sean and it's happening again. People see the SF character in an avatar and use it against the person they're arguing with. If you don't like Sean, fine, but purposefully picking out characters I like just to fuck with me is not OK.
Here's the difference
"Oooh I can't wait to see Alex, I wanna know if he has his powerbomb... wonder what his v-skill will be?" etc etc
"Ohh I can't wait to see Laura I hope she's... well good?"
That and both the other two newbies look pretty crappy to me, so it doesn't set a good precedent.
