I like her design. She looks like she may have command grabs. I love me some command grabs. Though I don't really understand Capcom's "Brazil = electricity" train of thought, but whatever, I'll take it. She already looks way better than Blanka.

Well tbh, Gief's reveal was pretty underwhelming.

It kinda was. Nothing against Zangief, but he kind dampened the wild ride that is the Street Fighter V hype train. I would have been fine if they showed off Zangief earlier & saved Rainbow Mika for now. Hopefully they get the last SFII character out of the way quick, but I'm afraid revealing that character at NYCC would be met with similar disappointment. So maybe they'll reveal Zen at NYCC for the sake of hype, then get the last SFII character out of the way on a random Tuesday just for the hell of it.

Laura and Rashid are some generic ass names.

Such unique names as Ken, Dan, Sakura, Makoto, Rufus, Karin, Charlie, Cody, Rose, Alex, Seth and Elena? Generic names are fine, not everyone needs a crazy original name, doesn't make them weaker or less memorable characters.

I suppose the green outfit also reminds me a lot of Blanka.

Yea cause "Ryu" and "Ken" are toooootes not generic. There definitely aren't a million Ryu's in Japan and Ken? One of the least used names in America and definitely isn't used in Japan.

The only Ken in America is the doll. It seem like people tend to go with Kenny. Even with Kenny I don't find that entirely generic. The top of basic boys out there are:
