Got an update on my stick from GIANTSWORD.

Going to keep it all black with a minimalist design with engraving on the face and side of the stick. I'm excited!

My TE2 won the snapback competition this month :D!

Congrats! Focus attack are such good folks.

It will be the most recent version that he's doing..

IT's a little more busy.

Damn that looks badass. That handle makes it look like a weapon.

Well the USB cable shit out on my Atrox. Gotta find a way to get another I guess.

Damn that sucks. Uh please tell me that it's the 360 version u have.

gonna have to contact razer support since they don't sell the cable on their store

if i had my quad mod stick finished i'd be less annoyed

I hate seeing this thread pop up in my subscriptions.

It reminds me I have almost all the parts I need to put my stick together but

A)There's little motivation because after playing SFV, I can't go back to IV, I've tried.
B)I keep spending my money on other pressing matters(vinyl, birthday gifts and urgent care bill)

I just need the wires, crimper, disconnects and some heat shrink. It's not a lot I have to spend just bad timing and, you know, I'm a huge procrastinator.

found a PS4/PS3 TE2 in NYC.

considering biting now or waiting for a revision... it will make the SF V beta and my copy of USFIV playable, but i may miss out on improvements.

damnit.

Razer support is really something else. They respond to me by asking me for the product number of the USB cable (how the hell would i know this?) and reminding me that they only help to replace accessories that are needed for the stick to function. I think the USB cable that connects it to the console fits that definition.

This is why I stick with either MadCatz or Eightarc. At least they've been pretty good when it comes to warranty (especially Eightarc).

hm they do look like the same cable. If I don't get any help from Razer support guess I'll grab one of these. Thanks!

They're MLG Mad Catz procables. You can find them separately if you look (just as expensive as the controller though. Supposedly Mad Catz will sell them separately (again) sometime, but we'll see.

Lemme know how it goes with Razor support as I'm bound to have an issue with it sometime.

Ya know, I might just order one of the controllers and see. I'll hit this thread back on Wednesday when I get it. *ordered it, will shoot back a PM or msg here with what I find out.

Thanks for that dude, post up here so everyone can have an alternative option rather than Razer Support.

Speaking of which, my request has been escalated to the Spare Parts Department. That sounds like some dude digging around in a garage to see if there's a cable around lol.

Got a response from Razer:

"We are out of stock of the replacement parts for your device so we'll need to replace the whole unit. See shipping details below. Thanks and have a nice day! "

Plus a prepaid shipping label to send them back the whole stick. Cool I guess, but its a weird way to handle it. Glad I kept the stock art and plexi now though

That's insane. I really hope the mad catz cord works. Either way, that's bonkers that they simply can't replace a USB cable. Gives me little hope with the controller I ordered. Hope I don't end up bending some prongs or something on the stick if it doesn't fit just right.

From Markman in regards to the Chun Li TE 2. My guess $225-$250 for the stick.

@MarkMan23: I'm happy working on new fighting game related products here at MCZ. It's hard to balance the cost to market. We hope ppl like the change.

@MarkMan23: It pains me to have to increase some of the MSRP on the products, but it's the nature of the beast. We can't lose money on products.

@MarkMan23: We (@MadCatz) are also doing our best to make sure the feature set/quality is back to high standard & supportive of the community.

@MarkMan23: I guess I'll tease it now. Preorders are going to open up for the SFV Chun-Li TE2 this Friday for NA. The price will be a bit higher.

@MarkMan23: Chun-Li TE2 will also be very limited. After this, we'll be going in the dark until the main SFV release in 2016. https://t.co/4eXH26ywwA

Do you have the 360 Atrox or Xbox One? I can help.

I thought the tek innovations plexi solved that? It's like $15-20.

It does, the buttons snap around their plexi too. It's not like the current TE2 solutions where the buttons don't clamp down the top panel.

I just want to be able to have non-loose plexi in my TE2. Its been one of my biggest purchase regrets

If you want plexi that doesn't move, see above. We've changed/improved the plexi on our newest versions of the TE2 that will be rolling out soon.

Will you be offering that new plexi to existing owners of the TE2? I'd be willing to pay $5-10 for one.

Sadly that mad catz wire didn't work. It hooked into the stick with a bit of force but the stick wouldn't power on, only flicker. Kind of wasted my money but, atleast now I know. Nice packaging on the controller.

guess i'll wait til the 2016 release of the SF V TE2

man the SF V beta is gonna blow with a ds4 :/

Have they said if there are gonna be slight redesigns with future models? I'm holding out on a Mad Catz stick until they make one with a touch pad.

I heard that the redesigns would be minimal at best, like the fixes they're doing to the plexi. Though if MarkMan could clarify on that, I'd appreciate it.

Not sure if anyone will know this but can seimitsu ps-14-g pushbuttons be dropped in on a hori hrap n3 sa? I know they have stock sanwa buttons but wasn't sure if this line would work as well.

I would imagine the sf5 line will be all new products , not a revision of the TE2. I'm expecting something like the vs case with te2 additions.

Quadmod stick is in and it seems Gummo got it working, haha. The Fightstick Pro is definitely a great form factor for a travel stick. Not tiny, but too huge to carry around at an event all day.
