Are you guys downloading DLC because you have the full game pre-loaded or does Xbox One have the capability of being able to download DLC even if you don't have the game? Only had my XBO for about a month, so I'm a little out the loop.
Haha. Already asked her that one and got shot down! Tempted to buy it digitally and just use my legacy instruments till Christmas. Should really hold out and work on my backlog though!
I'm guessing downloading all our DLC may be easier on PS4 as it will all appear as add-ons in our library? Probably still have to queue everything one song at a time though :/
Rock and Roll Star is still purchaseable for RB1 and 2, so you should be able to get it for PS4. Heir Kommt Alex was completely pulled, though.
It's just hidden from the RB3 store.

All my previously purchased songs are showing with prices on the Xbox Store and wanting to charge meare you guys doing it after preloading RB4 on your XB1?
mine only showed free on the Xbox One and not on the web store. Also I am sure some of them are not showing free for me even though I owned them, or I forgot what songs I bought

Holy shit I just got a working code. My Rock Band stars aligned over the past two days *-*
It lets you download it even if you don't have the game yet. I'm getting the physical version which I don't have yet and it let me download the songs that are tied to my account.

The only delisted songs that I didn't buy and would buy now are Tell Me Baby and They Say. Neither of them are really big deals to me.
Also, just bought what appears to be my last 360 DLC purchase, "Hysteria" by Muse. I'll start downloading songs onto my Xbone later.

fwiw this is exactly what I had to do with Dance Central's DLC. Packs have a price, singles showed up as purchased.
I think it gonna change if you use the ingame store hopefully.
I ended up with a song queue of 687... and the store keeps glitching lol.
1000ish songs down... ill get the rest when the game comes out

So right now some a quick rundown for people joining the thread:
-DLC is now on the Xbox One Store.
-Any DLC you own are now available for download with a few exceptions and caveats.
-If you bought songs as a pack you have to download them individually right now. The packs won't show as free but the singles will.
-The Green Day and Blitz exports are not triggering the singles for the store right now. Odds are we will have to wait for the in game store to download these so don't worry if you have the exports. 2112 also is in the same boat along with the free The Doors songs.
-All the pre-RB3 dlc is $2 on Xbox One but still $1 on 360 so grab any extra songs you want on there and not the One store yet.

Alright, I can verify that I can get the indvidual songs but not the packs on the XBone. There has to be a better way, right?

I mean, what other game or scenario would you need to mass download over 1000 pieces of DLC? I'm sure its probably quicker from the in-game store. I doubt MS anticipated this when they designed their store.
Well I have to head over to work...
Hopefully they won't do another wave of uploads till tonight, I still have some delisted tracks I need to purchase.
It's not that I won't have internet there... More so the fact that I have currency on the Xbox and for whatever stupid reason you can't use it on xbox.com

Being able to download the entire pack you paid for at once would be a great help.
No, because it would have increased the cost of the bundle and you would have 3 out of 4 possible instruments that can connect without an adapter anyway..

I am salty as fuck right now.
So this morning I noticed a fraudulent Paypal charge on my credit card. Called Paypal, they suspended the account and said they were going to reverse the charge. Called my bank, they cancelled the card and advised a new one would be here in 1-2 weeks (since we're going into a weekend). Immediately went "oh fuck, my RB4 pre-orders [among other things]". I have one pre-order in with the Microsoft Store and one in with Best Buy up here in Canada land.
I went to the Microsoft Store site, added my debit card to my account, deleted my credit card, went to check the order. No option online to change billing for a 'past order'. Contacted a CSR. After much deliberation, he told me they have no way to change the billing info for an order that is being processed. I'm legit stunned but he went to check w/ a bunch of different groups and apparently that is not a thing they can do. Suggested I place another order, but a) there's no stock and b) the price is now listed at $350. Basically told me he has no outs but took my contact info and said he'd contact me if that changed.
So that's totally unacceptable but there's no movement there right now and I'm at work and don't have time to fight with a manager or other escalation point, so I'll try to fight that battle later. Besides, I have a Best Buy pre-order, so I'll just update that order's billing info and get that one (I have two b/c I'm picking one up for a friend).
lol, joke's on me, Best Buy in Canada doesn't take Visa Debit, but they said I could set it up via Paypal and that would work - except the last thing I want to do right now is try to set up a new Paypal account, esp. tying it to my debit card/bank account. So now I need to try and get someone else to let me use their CC to do it and hopefully do that before there are any failed attempts to process my order causing further delays. What a mess.
I am not fucking happy right now.

Well I can't download anything, even individual songs I bought. Every song shows Buy It Now.
Jeez that's a really shitty situation man. I hope you're able to sort it out as you put a lot of work into RB4 with the harmonies project.

Track Pack exports, either. As in, I bought the metal track pack disc and exported it, but it won't let me grab songs like Screaming for Vengeance, Forever, Bulls on Parade, etc.

They haven't even made any kind of announcements yet regarding the dlc downloads yet, guys. I wouldn't worry too much yet about what's there / missing

Legacy DLC being available hasn't even been officially announced yet
you have to give time for the dust to settle before worrying about what's gone and what's not
None of the full game exports are in yet, aside from all/most of the individual songs from Green Day...there's various other content (can't remember, was the No Doubt album delisted? if not, I don't think that's in there yet)
The Doors album, all Green Day songs, and a few other random songs (Stash by Phish, Shout by Tears for Fears for example) are never available free if you own them already. I'm sure there are more like that, those are just ones that I know I own. Sometimes if you try again on a song you own that wants to charge you, it will give you the Install option on subsequent attempts.
Seems like maybe this is just the first half of legacy DLC and the other half with the exports will be coming later this weekend or Monday.

Best Buy in USA takes money out all at once and completes the order......they don't do the same in Canada? My $90 was drawn out the day I pre-ordered the game and its always been that way at Best Buy.
Payment is processed the day it ships. *shrug*

No, they only charge your card when the item ships.
One interesting thing I've noticed, you can search for things using SmartGlass (maybe on the website too, not sure) that aren't visible for download yet on the system but are tagged as DLC with the RB4 artwork (ie. No Doubt, Tom Petty, more R.E.M. tracks)
That trick doesn't work for the full game exports, which makes sense..and I haven't had any luck tracking down placeholders for those yet. Makes me wonder how that will work out
