Rock Band 4 announced for PS4 and Xbox One

So delisted songs won't come forward, which I guess makes sense... but what happens to songs that have Rock Band 3 versions? Do only the RB3 version get ported over?
It seems they are being combined into 1 song.
I have the RB1 under pressure but it there's just "under pressure" and no "under pressure rb3 version" in the xbox one store. even when looking at the rb3 enhanced queen pack (which is where i downloaded under pressure from)
Also some delisted songs carried over. they just haven't brought all songs over yet

Oh neat, so "free upgrade" for some of those Queen songs.
Also, I'm really hoping the Red Hot Chili Pepper tracks carry over then.

Took a second but I found it. Some of my previously bought stuff is coming up as free, but some is coming up as unavailable instead. I'm wondering if this is going to fix itself before release.
Edit: Looking closer, everything I bought in a pack is coming up unavailable instead of free. At least it's not allowing me to try to pay for it again, so that's a positive.
Where are you finding it? I'm not seeing it on the Web Store or PS4.

Search the store for one of the songs, you'll find the PS4 versions of them. Click one, and there's a link to the entire Rock Band store on PSN.
I feel like they really don't want to give me a code, I don't see why they are making this so difficult

No, I see some now. You have to look in "all new add ons".
I can't get any though, as the ones I own are either listed with a price or marked unavailable.

This one was specifically for the RB2 export, the other one had a code given to me for RB2 that I didn't ask for.

All mine still show up as PS3 only and only give the option to download to PS3.

because still alive released free it didn't dawn on me it was a rock band network song.
on the flip side it seems if I own something like the coldplay pack 1 it won't let me download/buy individual songs where in the past I know you could accidentally buy a song you already owned from a pack.

Can see some for PS4 now, so are they just doing it a batch at a time?
The JoCo version is RBN, the version with GlaDOS is a regular song.

No it wasn't? It released in 2008, well before RBN was a thing. Unless we're talking about a different Still Alive.

Looks like one big batch has gone up now. I figure there's a chance we see another batch actually go up on Tuesday with the store update.
They are saying this code was issued 5 months ago, so apparently between now and then EA cannot support the Rock Band series. This guy is just wasting my time, think I'm gonna give up. I appreciate your help still.
ah.... I see it now, the only one that popped up in the web store was the RBN song. sorry for the false alarm... didn't help I looked up this and read
it's one of my wife's favorite songs to sing so I didn't want it gone.
anyways.... I see 474 rock band dlc for the ps4 on the web store.
I don't see any that are free.
some are unavalible, those are ones I own from packs I bought, which those packs don't seem to exist on the ps4 store yet.
I thought you needed special adapter

For Xbox One, yes. For PS4, no. And the special adapter is available now, though there's some confusion as to whether they're going to ship before/on launch day or not.
for the 360 you do but you can order that on its own.
also I am up to a little over 1k songs now.

I am finding some free ones now, not all that I have are free though.
it does seem like everything is 1.99 right now though, including packs.

I'm going to go ahead and guess that they're limited to upload 1000 at a time, which makes sense. And all the singles that I've bought that I found are free, and anything I bought in a pack is unavailable. I don't think I've seen a song that I know I bought as a single that shows as me having to pay for it.
just checked Amazon. Didnt see adapter sold separately. Am I missing something?
I know for some reason I got the sponge bob songs. those still show as pay for me. most everything else I can remember is free though.

heh... I own most of those that I don't feel would make my set list less enjoyable
guess I can be in for jimmy though as it's not horrible just not great either.

after downloading everything I could... here's what I couldn't download
Some locked songs are understandable because they are part of the 30 preorder pack. some... aren't like Gay Bar, I understand it was delisted but I owned that song already!
Also for those wondering about the "EU Title Update Pack" It was a pack meant for EU customers but the code worked for US customers too... though songs that weren't allowed on North American RB3 still weren't allowed even with that pack.

The sale isn't supposed to end till October 6th though...
It isn't, but some of the songs I was planning on picking up tomorrow after I got a PSN card are all listed at $1.99, and all the songs are listed as being both PS3 and PS4 compatible. And I can't get into the RB3 store to verify the prices.
So now there is definitely a problem.
I think they are uploading the songs in waves... with no proper pattern it seems...
Hopefully they are all up by Launch though.
Time to "rent" a copy of RB3 from gamestop.
