Amazon and Gamestop websites say the code will be emailed to you within 2 days of shipment and if you get it at a Gamestop store, it'll be on the receipt. Not in the box.

In the videos I've seen, it looks like you are forced to use particular character for each section, although I could be wrong. I think maybe you have to unlock the ability to choose your Autobot by finishing the game or something.

Can anyone confirm or disconfirm?

The first time you play through the first level it's scripted, I think, but after that you can change between the unlocked characters both before and during the chapter.

I never buy Activision titles, but bought this one because Platinum is behind it. Do they actually unlock the game at midnight, or do they make us wait until 10 AM PST like most of the other mid-budget "preorders"? The fact that there's no preload up yet makes me fear the latter.

What platform did you buy it on? I got it all pre-loaded last night on PS4 and the timer says it will be ready at 12 AM EST tonight.
