Excited to see what this thing does starting in December! :D!

for those who don't know he was

Project Lead of IRON BRIGADE, BRAZEN, and MASSIVE CHALICE at Double Fine! :D!

For those people who dont know, he was Massive Chalice's project leader at Double Fine

*saved you from couple clicks :p

This makes me sad. Brad was such a ray of sunshine in all the Amnesia Fortnight and other assorted Double Fine media. I'll miss seeing him hanging with that gang.

And he'll never release a game again...

He doesn't have to, he's also a huge DOTA guy, so I imagine he'll be joining that team.

I'm very happy for him myself. Another personal notch against Double Fine now that he's gone, although I'm sad we'll probably never see Drenched now.

Valve is like the Retirement home where Game Developers go to stop making games.

Just kidding, I love what Valve is doing with CSGO and Dota2

Double Fine is a great studio, but the ups and downs must be killer. It's probably a good place for Brad, quite frankly.

A game developer saying they are going to work at Valve is like when your parents tell you they sent the dog to live on a farm.

They might be dead or they might be having the time of their lives. I dont know. All I know is they are gone forever.

But I wish him the best.

Getting bored of the Valve make no games meme now, haha. (My) GOTY in 2011, best FPS shooter on the market in 2012, (my) GOTY in 2013... Not bad if you ask me!

I don't think I'd turn down the chance to work at Valve.

Should also be cheaper than working for Double Fine. Seattle costs less than SF, right?

I'd rather work at Blizzard, but Valve would be a decent second choice... Shame I've no talent at all.

He doesn't have to, he's also a huge DOTA guy, so I imagine he'll be joining that team.

Oh my god, yeah, that makes a lot of sense...and is absolutely terrible news D: Brad is one of the most charismatic and creative people in gaming these days. So the guy (partly) responsible for games like Brutal Legend, Massive Chalice and Iron Brigade will now work on..a MOBA?

Oh no D: This is a very ignorant thing to say, i realize that, this is great news for the guy and the millions and millions of DOTA-fans but...

OH NO D:

Have fun designing new DOTA2 heroes, Brad. That's going to be your life now. :D

I guess DF won't have any mechanically experimental games in the works then.

Good for him :D Valve must be one of the best places to work at :D

I mean, you do get paid to make hats count money and play DOTA2 and CSGO all day. Sounds like a good work environment to me.

Edit: They get the fans to make hats now while Valve takes a cut.

Is he just going to work on DOTA? Because if he wants to continue deigning games, Valve seems like the wrong place.
