So let me get this straight ... Blake & Murphy and Samoa Joe gets their own character, but the 3 NXT women wrestlers (Charlotte, Becky & Sasha) who were recently called up to the main roster don't *sigh*

Charlotte is the one that annoys me the most, since this means the current reigning Divas champion isn't in the fucking game.

But there's no use in complaining now...

They said some time ago they are not getting into this game at all. Not even as DLC.

How about putting them in the base game since one was goddamn DLC last time and Alundra should be in the Austin showcase as part of the Dangerous Alliance.
 
Somebody explain the Hall of Fame showcase--Scott Hall is in that but not a regular character? How does that work?

It's an 11 on the 1 to 10 scale of mind bogglement. I honestly may not buy it for that reason alone. Best matches I've seen in a long time and you don't have them in the game. Doesn't make any reasonable sense whatsoever.

When did Joe join up?

Usually the excuse is that they have these rosters set in stone early so they usually can't add new content. But Charlotte and Banks have been around for a while now. I think Banks mentioned being scanned last year.

There really is no excuse.

If they could get Samoa Joe in the game they really could have at least managed to get in a couple of the NXT divas.

If the game is good/passable, I'd be very excited to have Arn Anderson, Tatsumi Fujinami, the Natural Disasters, the Bushwhackers, and SAMOA F--KING JOE as DLC.

It's really depressing to look at the Legends Pack and realize that all of the male wrestlers in it are dead...and two of them very recently. :(
 
I legit don't understand how they skipped the Four Horsewomen. It's unacceptable really.

Did they ever give any explanation besides whatever "various reasons" is?

As for this, Paige being involved in anything that has to do with the words Hall Of Fame is laughable. The rest looks ok. I used to love Harlem Heat so that's cool and Samoa Joe!!

The average player typically doesn't play with the Divas, hence replacing them with more guys makes sense.

It doesn't fucking matter that this borderline invalidates WWE's Divas Revolution (which is laughable enough as it is), but do we really have to include two of the worst tag teams in WWE history over the four best women's wrestlers in the company?

Yes, we can at least create them, but it won't be the same. I'm interested to see what 2k16 has on offer, all signs to it being only marginally better than last year's debacle.

Dan Ryckert talks about the game in the newest Bombcast. Sounds like it's basically just as bad as last year but with shiny modes around it.
 
Sucks that you can't buy individual characters any more, not sure if I'm even going to buy the game but if I did and wanted Samoa Joe, I don't think I could justify buying a pack with 4 other wrestlers I have zero interest in.
 
Why is Matadores DLC and not say Sasha or Bayley? Like forget playing divas, we're talking two of the best NXT vs the lowest of the tag team pole.

Sound like Sasha and many others were scanned early on but they were probably told they wanted to focus on SS and Divas they thought they would be pushing that year. WWE changes plans the second their TV Ratings and Stock fall so my guess is they told Yukes no and then it was to late by the time the Revolution started
 
There's still a lot more to be announced isn't there? ("30 plus characters").

Agree about the 4 horsewomen though, especially Charlotte. Almost certainly must be the WWE blocking it this year...

I could give them a pass if Rosa, Eva Marie, Summer and Cameron weren't in. There's your 4 roster slots right there. Hell Steph is in TWICE. And 2K says they were pushing for them so who at the WWE needs to take their heads out of ther asses?

Willing to bet money they make a big deal out of their inclusion next year complete with a Divas Revolution showcase that'll start with Paige/Emma and include everything up to the Iron (Wo)Man Match tonight.
 
I didn't think anyone actually cared to play as Divas. The biggest travesty of this entire thing is that Sid & Yokozuna haven't been announced yet. I also hope we get Diesel and Razor alts for Hall & Nash.

On one side of the debate people say the majority of players don't use Divas, on the other side we've got it's going to be the next big think for WWE17.

I think it must be something to do with contracts or what not. Seems so strange.

This is the first thing that stood out to me as well. Like what the hell, Joe's only been in NXT for a few months but he gets in and they don't? The fuck?

Which is a bit silly because Charlotte and Sasha have been planned to be pushed to RAW for ages before they actually showed up on TV.

Shocked they didnt at least have Charlotte since at the very least it has been obvious for months that she was going to be pushed hard by the company. She was already all over that WWE + Tapout marketing push at Wrestlemania.


But they got Samoa Joe who has been with the company 3-4 months. I like Joe but its a real bad look for WWE and 2K here.

I concur regarding Sid.

And it's possible I'm in the minority, but I'll take Joe, Blake & Murphy as DLC over 4 females my friends and I would never play as 10 times out of 10.
