I agree. In fact, I'm all for new characters (or, at least, characters that weren't in SF4). But, I was just making a joke because he misspelled "badly" as "baldy".

No type of breakdown vid like that yet, but I bet there will be one soon with Combofiend showing off Laura's assets to Mike.
Whoops, I def missed that! I am glad that the new characters so far have playstyles that aren't carbon copies of / clearly inspired by the usual SF characters. They actually look new. I can't wait to try out Necalli, Rashid, Laura and whoever is next.
My heart wants Guile.
I also think he's a more important character than Dhalsim given his place in the lore as one of the main protagonists. Either would fill a gap, but there are more reasons for Guile to be in than Dhalsim.

Well, at the very least, we know they have the same last name. It's not confirmation that they're siblings, but it does strongly imply that they're related.

Do you mean a movelist? Because there's a ton of Zangief match footage. Just search SFV Zangief on Youtube.

I want to see there Alex, Urien and Zen day one. Doesn't matter if some of them are bosses, unlockable/DLC or secret/hidden characters.
If we get someone else instead or in addition to them, I'd prefer Guile and/or a brand new character as final boss. I don't like Dhalsim at all, Guile is one of my favorites, fits better in the story now that Charlie is back and we only got Charlie and Ken as US characters (main gaming market, maybe 3 is better for sales).
If Zen is from India, I can see her / she being related moveset wise to Dhalsim, so no need to include the SF2 character in the initial 16.

I think Alex is a cool character design, but I hope both of the last two characters are strong zoners. I don't think a limbs and a fireball zoner would be overkill, especially since Ryu isn't really a strong zoner outside of his V-Trigger mode.
EDIT: It could be interesting to have a character who goes from a zoner to more of a rushdown character in V-Triggger, kinda the opposite of Ryu. Dhalsim with fast drills, slide and flame could be cool.

If there is no character reveal in NYCC then last character is definitely dhalsim i think.

So what if Alex and Urien are day 1 DLC but are only purchasable through fight money. The only reason they'd do this would be to get people used to getting fight money and using it. And to get the exact amount of fight money you need to get them you can go though a tutorial that teaches you the basics of street fighter.

Just came home and saw the NY stage "reveal" and the quite heated looks-like-Alex-but-might-be-Axl background character discussion.
Some reactions:
First: I like the stage quite a bit!
Second: I think it is Axl as well, not Alex. (Though this might be a case of overly optimistic wishful thinking on my part...)
Third: The stage looks pretty much identical to what was shown in Ken's art, which almost confirms that we could indeed see all of the things shown in these pieces of art in a stage at some point. (Bring on Rashid's Dubai inspired stage I say!)
Fourth: If they don't reveal Alex at some point this week or later as DLC after first introducing this NY stage, then that would be quite a slap in the face of SFIII/Alex fans. (I know that sounds salty, but imagine how you would feel if they'd repeatedly give your favorite character, one they'd at some stage even labeled as a protagonist, the "Mega Man treatment" of diminishing him to pointless cameos and teasers.)

If we see a NYCC character reveal it would be logical to see it at NYCC SFV panel, which isn't today.
I assume that in the 'World of Capcom' NYCC panel today will announce Laura and the NY stage when talking about SFV.

Btw if you are at NYCC . is the secondary portion of the Metro City stage unlocked? I am guessing its going to be more like some alley or something.
