yeah I was just going off of my own memory and hopeful someone would do the work of actually researching- and I'm glad you did. I'm personally fine with day 1 DLC characters, got to put that fight money to some use.
 
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the NYC stage. Maybe it will look better with better footage. I think the Gief stage has a lot of character and the lighting is on point.

I'm a big fan of charge characters who have a good defensive game, more focused on punishing than opening people up. So someone like Chun was great for me in SF4, I also really liked being able to play a good footsy/defensive game with Decapre. My favourite fighting game character to play as in general is Leona from KOF if that helps paint the picture.

Yeah. Leona and Decapre are favs of mine too, though I wish the latter had her own design and a slightly less viable uppercut. Doubt we'll see any charge motion slide/takedown characters any time soon.

Personally, I'm hoping against hope that Viper and Necro show up before too long. I like the unique midrange games of each of them.

So you can totally see why, if that's what I look for in those characters, nothing in SFV really stands out to me right now right?

So are these dudes pretty much a given at this point?
My understanding is that the next "old" character to be revealed will be the last to make the initial cut, then the final "new" character will be revealed (Zen?) and then the rest will be DLC.

Sorry if this has been repeated a bunch. I'm just curiously dropping by.

I would take Urien DLC, no questions. He wasn't even my main in 3S but I'm really excited to see what they do with him. Hoping that earning DLC characters with in-game fight money is a reasonable affair, but if not I'll still happily pay cash monies for him.

I was actually joking around cause I'm fairly certain Vulva and I feel the same way that those characters have been a long shot for a while.
I'm sure we'll get them as DLC at some point.

The next returning character is Sim. I think thats a lock

Alex and Makoto are both moonshine. One swig from them and you'll be too dizzy to even know where you are. The stun values are too real.

The lighting looks nice in person, and the textures are quite good compared to like, waterfall (which remains a complete eyesore).


Anyways, didn't really like Ken out claw based on my tike with them today. Necalli was a pleasant surprise though. Probably going to use him the most in the beta since I went have Nash.

Seriously though Ken sucks wtf

He's doing it right. A lot of people use YouTube the same way they use TV—as a secondary source of noise pollution and entertainment. People play games on their TV while YouTube is playing on their phones or tablets or whatever. He does a good job producing content that can be consumed this way.
