TOS isn't even on PS4...
I'd take the PS3 version, or a Vita version of Hearts R.

It's not on PC either >.>
Do you guys expect the PC version to be on par or better than the ps4 version?

If you are talking about Zestiria, Namco said it runs at 30fps like the PS4 version, but supports higher resolutions (up to 4k I think).
If you are talking about Symphonia, we don't know much, it seems to run at 30fps like the PS3 version, and nobody knows what resolutions it supports.
I've played Tales of Symphonia more times than I care to admit on Gamecube and PS3. Looking forward to playing through it again.
I'll take dual audio over 60fps any day.
Bought.
I figured people would attack the Mystic Arts that you get for free after grabbing them from the Bandai Namco site.
I want symphonia, but I thought Zestiria was pretty bad?
Anyone know if the bonus applies to preorders on other sites? For example, GMG has 23% off so I'd rather buy it there instead of from Steam.

***Tales of Symphonia will be added to your Steam library automatically once available on Steam.
****Only purchases of Tales of Zestiria on Steam count towards the Pre-Purchase Rewards.

I was interested in the steam version but trophies swayed my decision to PS4

Up to Namco-Bananas. I got DS2 pre-order stuff with a key from Nuuvem.Anyone know if the bonus applies to preorders on other sites? For example, GMG has 23% off so I'd rather buy it there instead of from Steam.

Doesn't really change that it's up to them how they handle Steam subs and distributor deals. I've gotten tiered unlocks with off-Steam games before (XCOM).Thats different from the tiered promotions
The way I see it, the Zestiria pre-orders rewards are not a problem because they're content that will be available some other way after release (paid DLC, Symphonia will be released separately as well), in my opinion pre-orders rewards are a problem when they include exclusive content.Okay, so it's fine because it doesn't have the superfluous items that you'd lose by picking one preorder bonus over another, and it doesn't have the option of arriving a few days earlier (also kind of a "nothing" bonus.).
Instead, it has two tiers of completely non-essential costume DLC and a free game. So because you don't lose anything, people are totally fine with it.
Preorder incentives have gotten to the point where people think this shit is acceptable, and y'all just lap it up.
Well that was quick. I always expected it to be reached, but I thought it would be in the final push on the day before release, not more than one week out!
The Steam version releases worldwide on the same day as the PS version in the US, which is the 20th. The EU PS version is slightly earlier for some reason.Wait so the Steam version comes out later than the PS4 version after all?Not that I would mind but Amazon lists the PS4 version for the 16th o.o
And gratz to everyone for reaching 100%![]()

Games in the UK pretty much always come out on Friday.A Friday release for one region is kind of weird.
Namco gave away some DLC the same way for the Steam version of One Piece, and claiming it was simple enough.I have a feeling that claiming the free DLC is going to be an enormous pain, for some reason.
Wait, what? Can't be any worse than Xillia, and I liked those. Plus Go Shiina is doing some of the music!!

The VIP corner works worldwide for Steam releases?
It was the European site, but I believe everyone was able to redeem the DLC fine. The VIP corner works worldwide for Steam releases?
Why would anyone? It's basically nothing like that.. You don't get to unlock the game early and neither you have to pick and choose between different bonuses in a way that you would be always missing out on something.
Coupled with the fact that 1) The bonuses with this system are usually better than regular preorder bonuses and 2) that the vast majority of them unlocks just fine, seems a pretty good system to me.
Because it's not the same thing, like at all?
Getting a $20 game for free and not having to miss out on bonuses sight unseen no matter what I choose? Yeah. Completely fucking same right there.
I think you people saying it's similar to the Deus Ex thing need to explain exactly what you mean, because it's kind of baffling.

Hmm I see, interesting, that might push me towards the PS4 release for my initial purchase along with local multiplayer before I eventually double-dip.
Local multiplayer also is in the Steam version.
Oh I know that much but I can't stuff a full tower case into my bagpack, a PS4 is another story though...

I literally played through Legendia for his soundtrack (and the cast), you are not helping my wallet.

God dammit now I'm so conflicted. I don't want to encourage 30fps. But a Tales game on PC? I want to encourage that. And Tales of Symphonia only sweetens the deal.
Where's the outrage for tiered preorder rewards? The pitchforks were out in force when Deus EX did it.
It already has been discussed, and even then there's nothing to compare. They are two entirely different situations .Where's the outrage for tiered preorder rewards? The pitchforks were out in force when Deus EX did it.
