Again, your screenshots prove that it's there and to a large degree but in that screenshot (like the one above) it's mostly one color so you won't see it as much as a floor that has a lot of detail. The more detail a floor texture has the more apparent it is. You do get this, right?

Look, just watch the Digital Foundry video that I linked. It's something it's completely apparent the second a player moves forward.

I'm still going to enjoy the game and the shitty texture filtering isn't going to prevent that but I'm also not going to pretend like it's not there since I can see it 5 feet in front of me.

If you can't see it then that's cool, I guess. Doesn't change the fact that it's still there, though.
 
The Halo hype is real! MCC is currently sitting behind the big 3 sports titles, GTA5, and destiny as the current most played title so I'm assuming this trailer made a few people jump back.

I tried to jump into halo 4 for a bit and all it did was make me wish I we playing halo 5

I didn't say it isn't there, I'm saying it's not as heavily apparent and something I didn't notice at all while watching the game in motion.

People here are still very positive about the game even though there are valid criticisms. This is an all time high for Halo on GAF. I'm really pleased to see that at least.

This is a personal trademark for the Halo franchise for me. The graphics have never been the best, but it always has looked so much more visually appealing than other games. Yes, even with the lack of AF lol ;)

The combination of art and tech, and obviously it all being in a universe that I'm such a huge fan of, really makes this game come to life visually in a way that other games in the same genre simply do not.

There's zero need for conspiracy when regular consumers would do that work for free, with more compassion and conviction, regardless of platform. I'd be amazed if any corporation did this on purpose and I doubt they ever did beyond a zealous intern or two.

Can we stop arguing about the af and not because it not a tech thread but its ruining the thread, that its to the both sides, its clear that the AF can be a lot better. It will only end with this thread closed.

I think we've had more posts complaining about the argument than the argument itself.

If a mod says to cut it out then I will but until then I don't see what's wrong with discussing the trailer's graphics.

This thread is a perfect example of why we need a halo community thread again. Now that HaloGAF is closed there is no where for Halo fans to discuss the game in peace with other Halo fans. Instead we must only talk about Halo in threads like these, and these threads almost always devolve into discussions about visuals, resolution, and other things that only console warriors care about. Instead of taking about a cool trailer we're nit picking textures from a YouTube video.

This is embarrassing. You should all be embarrassed.
 
I pre-ordered the super duper halo version of the xbone, I had to take my girlfriend out to a nice dinner to make up for the "hur hur i'm never buying an xboner" I said 2 years ago.
