Do US channels leave the channel logo on the screen? If so, it's something I will start to look for.

Sae a Good Dinosaur trailer this time, looking good! Quality aside, I will enjoy 1080/60 tomorrow (later today, ugh)

Dude, the amount of SW shit out now rivals that of Episode 1 back in the day. I swear to god I can't escape it when I'm even in a small rural dollar store.
 
It's 3AM here, and I can't sleep. Now I'm just hoping I can stay awake til the trailer hits. Have to get up at 8 tomorrow, lawd

That's more due to televised games, especially ones in the NFL. The broadcasters force TV timeouts so advertisements can be shown. Non-televised games fly by and a 15 minute quarter is much closer to actually being 15 minutes. In the NFL a single quarter can sometimes last 30-45 minutes, if not longer. So, a full length non televised game can be only an hour and a 45 minutes (or shorter), while a televised one tends to be 3-4 hours.

Soccer is smart by having the advertisements on the jerseys. Unfortunately, if the NFL adopted this, they'd probably still keep doing the TV timeouts so they can get even more money.

Imagine it's like a League of Legends or Unreal Tournament scoreboard at the top.

The "1 2 3 4" in the middle are quarters, showing the game progress. After two quarters there is halftime.

The numbers below the "1" indicate points scored in those quarters. The big numbers on either side mean points scored by a team (think deathmatch mode in a first-person shooter).

The red number at the top (1:16 - 1st) means the time in the game left. Think of it as a timer running out in a deathmatch game. Once the time is gone, the quarter ends.

I was at fred meyer the other day with my gf and at practically every head turn I saw some form of SW merch in my field of view, it was insane. Then I'm in the makeup aisle with her and spot SW mascara lol.
