I really enjoyed it. In fact I have actually replayed it. Opinions vary, as you can see.
They converted to Steamworks recently and I don't think it was ever server based on Capcom's end.

RE4 HD and Remember Me. That's a solid bonus. Thumbs up, Capcom. Tier 2 and 3 are good.

You're probably thinking of the original RE4 PC from 8 years ago that lacked basic things like mouse support or a lighting model . The HD edition is different.

The forums are stuffed with people's technical issues with the new Steamworks version, though. Lots of people saying it doesn't work with Win10 x64, or has random crashes, or that you can't switch weapons with your AI partner in the campaign (!!!) or that the AI pathfinding is bugged out.
Should I avoid?
I didn't have issues on Windows 7 x64 both in terms of performance or connection issues but I haven't tried it on Windows 10 because I have no desire to play the game. Maybe that's more telling.
I played it solo and thought it was fine. But it'd probably be more fun in multi-player.
I could be wrong but the hooks for it were still in the game and someone found a way to mod it back in. I haven't kept up with the game so I don't know if subsequent patches broke it.
I believe the Steamworks patch disabled it.
Probably? Posting your specs would help. It probably won't run 60 fps, though.

I went with the $15, boosting the charity portion to $8. The additions of RE4 and Remember Me are nice plus I skipped SFIV all these years...might as well get the whole (great) deal.
I'm on Win10 x64. I only played the DLC scenarios (+ few games of Mercs Reunion) and the game worked flawlessly. I haven't encountered any crash.
From what I know, there are few bugs in the game that were not present in GfWL version (mainly graphical things) and now there's only one weapon layout in Mercenaries instead of two separate for gamepad and mouse + keyboard, which sucks - if you want to have your weapons assigned to 1, 2, 3... etc keys, you have to manually move items around every time you start a Mercs round. :/

It's RE4 Ultimate HD, so it has M&K controls as well as gamepad controls by default.
Be sure to look up the RE4 HD mod that's being worked on. It's going to be godly.

RE4 HD supports KB+M out of the gate and it's spectacular, so even if you lament the lack of Wii pointer controls, these are just as good.

Anyone know what the Revelations 2 on the humble store contains? If it has all the dlc i mean, its guess it has some of it.
Its annoying thats the only RE i've yet to get, im considering the bundle just for the coupon and im half interested in some of the other stuff but i dunno, if anyone doesn't wanna use their coupon (and your able to give it to others, im not sure how their coupons work), i'd love to take it off yer hands.
