How to watch the Paris Games Week PlayStation Press Conference

Tune in on Tuesday 27th October for exciting new announcements
Next Tuesday, 27th October 2015, from 4.45pm GMT/5.45pm CET, we’ll be drawing back the curtains on the inaugural Paris Games Week PlayStation Press Conference. In front of gathered media at the iconic La Grande Arche de la Défense, we’ll be announcing new games and offering some exciting updates on previously announced titles.

Naturally, you’ll be able to watch all the action live as it happens, right here on PlayStation Blog through our dedicated PGW hub, on our Twitch channel or through the Events app on your PS4. The show will be translated live into French, German, Spanish, Italian and Japanese.

And once the press conference is over, we’ll have a packed schedule of guest posts, trailers and exclusive behind the scenes videos right here on PlayStation Blog, offering additional detail on all the announcements.

We’ll also be sending Snapchats direct from the showfloor (sign up now by searching for ‘PlayStationEU’ in-app), and make sure you’re following us on Instagram and Twitter for live images and updates direct from the event. Set your bookmarks – you won’t want to miss a thing.

Finally, if you’re heading down to Paris Games Week later in the week, make sure you swing by the massive PlayStation stand where you’ll be able to check out a hefty selection of upcoming titles, including Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Star Wars Battlefront and Ratchet & Clank.

I'm fine with everything that's not a YouTube livestream. Twitch seems to be an option, so I'm happy.

Edit: Because YouTube livestreams are blocked in Germany.

Too bad SCEE is slow again but you can get it from NA PSN

Live translation? Xbox does this at E3 and people who use their Xbox to stream it in Germany hate it. If somebody watches a dedicated videogame press conference you can assume they understand what's neccessary.

It won't be translated on the official twitch stream. You should be able to choose the version you want to watch.
 
I was planning to watch/listen to this at work and just realized Im going to have one or two meetings during the time it airs. Are we going to have a summary thread again like for E3 conferences?
 
Nice that they're utilizing the new Events menu for something like this.

Events is the new menu item next to Friends on your PS4.
 
That's depressing i've been trying to find a way to attend the real deal but it seems my network is not good enough :'(

The duration of the conference hasn't been announced.

So there's 3 options for watching directly on PS4: Events app, Youtube app and Twitch app (if it's out in EU before then).
 
Just a little heads up everyone. You can use the Events section on the PS4 to subscribe to this, and if your PS4 is in Stand-by mode when the conference starts, you can choose to automatically turn on, and connect to the stream.

This was great during the Tokyo Game Show conference since it gave me time to bake a pizza, not worry about setting up the stream, and while in the kitchen hear if it's starting.

Yep, you got it. YT, Twitch and PS4 app are your 3 viewing options. I don't believe Twitch will have their PS4 app out in SCEE by next Tuesday unfortunately.

Yeah, Twitch is pretty bad in those kind of situations. Too laggy, Youtube was sooooo smooth during E3.

They are referring to the Live Event Viewer App that was released last year. Not sure if its available outside of the NA region.
