What's your favorite fall dessert?

With Thanksgiving almost a month away, I've started trying to think of what dessert I want to make this year and which ones are my favorite but I need more ideas.

My favorites are:

The apple tart -

and a simple pumpkin tart

I tend to like tarts more than pies since there isnt as much filling in comparison to the crust. I could eat tarts for days, tbh.

But I need more ideas for what to make so share your favorite fall treats and give me some ideas ! :)

a lot of my threads involve me fucking up somehow. Perhaps I'm a moron?
Pumpkin pie is gross.

Tis merely a canvas for copious amounts of whipped cream.

i've been begging for over 5 years.
Gotta go with Pecan Pie on this one.

I absolutely loathe anything with pumpkin in it.

I make a damn good pumpkin pie. Same recipe works well for sweet potato pie, just substitute sweet potatoes for pumpkin.

Also, while it's not technically a fall dessert, I find derby pie works well this time of year, what with all the nut based recipes going round.

Pumpkin bread pudding and maple panna cotta are also great.

I don't know if this is strictly considered a fall dessert, buy there's this apple dumpling recipe made with Mt. Dew that is incredible. Sound weird but it's one of the tastiest desserts I've had.
