Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition - Before & After Changes

Do we have an exact release time or anything?

Actually thought the game had been released already as I got the game on friday. Too bad I didn't have much time to play the game beside the first minutes in coop (splitscreen) until you reach the tutorial area. (After it crashed to ps4 home screen, we had quit our quick testing session. We just wanted to have a peak.) First time playing divinity. Great first rough impression and it looked really great. Very smooth and loving the effects. Can't wait to test a lot more :)

I was just thinking the same thing.

I've just plonked down my pre-order, had to spunk £49.99 on it as buying from the US marketplace isn't as lucrative as it used to be :(

Amazon had it pretty cheap though.
I got a bargain from Bespoke Offers made it even cheaper.

Got my copy early last friday. Played it for the whole weekend with my boyfriend. PS4 version seems to be really well done. Interface is quite smooth and adapted (no super-tiny fonts, too). I really like what i've seen so far, first time ever playing D:OS.

The enhanced dialogues are awesome, the number of British accents reminds me (positively) of Xenoblade Chronicles. I think they are really fitting for RPGs.

Encountered any crashes in splitscreen mode? Just curious as I got one quite early. (Newest version) Didn't have time to test anymore, was a bit scared that the splitscreen part might be broken.

Hope it at least releases soon. 10am PST release would be something like 8pm for me I think, I'd really like to put a couple of hours into it tomorrow.

I think I'll finally buckle down and play this soon... it's been sitting in my Steam library forever, I just get so damn bored in the earlier bits.

Bored might not be the right word, actually. I get caught up in trying to pick a class for both characters and whatnot and I'm never really happy with it, so i keep restarting the game XD

Not yet. We've clocked in about 10h so far. Some really minor FPS drops from time to time in splitscreen. But barely noticeable. Together with the graphic updates it's quite looker with a stable performance i'd say. Good choice from Larian for keeping everything 30 fps because of the splitscreen experience. Dynamic Splitscreen would be really uncomfortable with FPS switching every few seconds.

That's great to hear! Thanks. :) Can't wait to get finally started and keep playing for more than just a peak!

EDIT: Just saw that the game is currently cheap on Amazon (Germany) for around 41 EUR (PS4 / XBox One) http://www.amazon.de/dp/B012Z7EYBG/

Welcome to my world.
It took me probably around 3 hours to properly start Pillars of Eternity

Did any console review copies go out to anyone?

I'm curious to see how it plays.

I haven't played the pc version and I should be getting the PS4 from Amazon tomorrow.

They really should have a page for it on Steam. I know previous owners get it but people who want to pre-purchase new can't. I know they can just buy the old one but it just seems convoluted for new buyers.

Pretty much every game has a Steam page way before release and seeing as how this is not an update but a standalone version they should have a page. They would sell more imo.

Bought it for myself and a friend. We really enjoyed ourselves despite knowing the saves don't transfer. Almost feel like it'll be a shame that the new features will be lost on us since we didn't get to play too much of the original.

I wonder if it will still overheat and crash my computer? Still the only game that has ever done that to me. Repeatedly.

If a game overheats your computer, then your computer is at fault, not the game. (I feel like I've posted this about 50 times :P)

Mmm I'm torn.I just got wasteland 2 on my ps4 but I keep hearing about game breaking bugs.I already own this on PC but stopped as I don't want to use a mouse (back pain issues).

Adding controller support is exactly what I want. So do i put wasteland 2 on hold for patches (but I'm really enjoying it so far) and start this from the beginning once this version is available, or do I truck on with wasteland 2.

It's mainly that I have no idea if a patch is even due out for wasteland 2.

Can't wait for this. I put about 10 hours into the regular edition but for one reason or another let it fade into the backlog, although I loved what I experienced so far. Fully plan on playing some controller co-op with the Steam version tomorrow night.

I apologize if this is taboo but I noticed that G2A has the GoG version for $15 and the Steam one for $37. I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on getting this. Why is there such a price gap between two services?

Cause the source of the GOG codes is probably different, like some bundle or whatever. G2A is just a platform for reselling codes, a lot of which are acquired from sources that aren't meant to be resold individually or at all. And then there's the possibility the seller isn't actually legit or whatever.

Damn. Swen is cold.
That burn. I am inclined to open a thread for that tweet.
But I won't.
Good choice. The fanboys would ravage him for that.

I believe G2A is like Ebay but for reselling keys as Steam gifts. I think they are cheap because the keys are being bought from different regions with lower prices and being resold in more expensive markets. The keys are sometimes revoked by Steam because they are stolen or something but if you pay an extra dollar for G2A shield, supposedly, they will replace your key if that happens (I think warranty lasts just 1 month though).
