I have no idea what it is, maybe it's just me needing to adjust or having put way too many hours in Destiny, but the controls and movement feel very clunky and slow so far into Halo 5. (First two missions complete)

I really don't like how things are being presented so far. There really isn't much depth to the current cutscenes and is fairly scarce on the important details.
"Oh yeah Cortana is alive by the way" Felt really rushed, especially how everyone except Roland just casually knew
Also feels as if there are literally cutscenes missing (in between the ones already presented after chapter 2).

You came from a 30fps game to s 60fps game, and feel like the latter feels slow and clunky? It's definately you!

Agree about the emblems. I miss this. I've used it for a long, long time. Though I did get some Mad Dog rare emblem that I'm now using. I didn't see the crossed swords in anything yet. I think I did see a single sword emblem called Salient Sword, but they said they'll be adding more reqs in over the next several months, here's hoping the crossed swords make it, preferably in front of the shield.

Couple of questions regarding Capture the Flag. Is there any way to toss the flag without throwing a grenade? And does marking the flag carrier happen automatically when someone has them in their view? Or do you press something?

If you already own it, have entered the code etc, its all done in game under open packs in the start menu.

That still means thousands of matches if one wanted to unlock everything, not that I'm that kinda guy.

I have a big problem with the "random packs unlock things" model in general even if there were no microtransactions involved. It was complete shit in both Mass Effect 3 and Payday 2 (Xbox360).

Okay so it's taken 3 hours to move from 85% to 90% in the installation process from the disc. I know my connection isn't the best but I didn't realize it was so bad it affected physical media. Is this happening to anyone else or what?

So played campaign for a few hours and the game felt so weird at first coming from Destiny, then it sunk in stuff was moving fast as hell and the enemies weren't predictable and standing behind boxes the whole time lol. I got my ass kicked a few times even on normal lmfao. The controls are taking me a while to get used to again thanks to Destiny muscle memory.

Co-op has been really fun so far, it gets frantic looking for ammo during big fights.

I have noticed the LOD stuff digital foundry mentioned but only really during slow times when I'm not in a fight. During battles you don't even notice it really.

It was Destiny familiarity that has made me switch to default currently too. But there is just something off about it. Ideally I'd like to be able to use recon, but I think I'd be at a disadvantage.

I bought the game this afternoon, set it to install went away for a few hours, came back hoping it had linstalled, nope. Queued. I didn't want to play this hotly anticipated title today anyway.
