Looking great, though it is a bit awkward that at 1:01 there's a repeated NPC, specially with them being able to cherry pick the shots for this trailer.
Also is that a bunch of conventionally attractive people on the key art? Including a good looking blonde woman with long hair?!?!?!

I didn't realize this is from the folks who made Pathfinder: Kingmaker. That game always looked interesting, but I'm not a big medieval fantasy fan.
So for them to take on sci-fi--and The Expanse, specifically--I am very much on board.

Yes.
There are definitely aliens in The Expanse, though they would operate more like The Flood in a real time combat shooter, perhaps, than any kind of "funny forehead Star Trek alien" type thing you would have as a companion. This game looks to cover the first books, so you have Earth humans as the big momma oppressor, Mars humans as the more technological oppressors, all the outer solar system humans as the oppressed with the OPA (Outer Planets Alliance) as their form of IRA/PLO terrorist/resistance group, a handful of mercenary corporations, and then this insidious alien corruption element. Basically the first 3 seasons of the show/first 3 books.
I kinda wish they pushed this to the Laconian era with the more advanced tech/wormholes. Could have some nice alien environments exploring hostile forerunner artifact sites.
I just hope there is a path to that glorious Martian power armor. Forearm minigun go burrrr burrr
And I hope the main character gets a "Head Miller" companion, would be a clever way to do the interface.

The main character on the bottom left looks like a Belter. I hope we don't have to listen to too much Belter dialogue. The Belter accent is....something. Let him be a silent protag if he is a Belter. Think Jar Jar Binks and you have the Belter accent.

I just hope we get a more consistent belter appearance rather than the mismash from the show. They COULD have cast really tall and thin people, understanding that limits the available ethnicities a bit, but would have made a belter more visually distinguishable versus the "normal people with a face tattoo" route they went with.

I love Owlcat but they release some buggy ass games, I think they get away with it because the fanbase is generally more hardcore... but this one could have a much wider general appeal and I want them to hit a home run.

Check out some of procedural generated planets in Starfield, they follow rules that make beautiful looking landscapes.
In general its a stunning looking game.
