If you want to do it legit - use the binary rifle and get headshots to stop them from charging. Alternate targets to keep them distant, keep behind cover when not shooting, and have your teammates focus fire on one.

Use the 4 incineration cannons in the map to take 2 of them down.Also use the man cannons to get away from a charging warden. For the last warden stand on one of the platforms near-ish the door you enter. The warden can't melee you and all you have to do is dodge the ranged attacks.

In general with the warden fights you only have to worry about shooting the back on co-op when they have more health. You can easily take them down on solo with headshots.
 
Really liking Warzone and Warzone Assault, but these maps are getting old quick. Any official date when we'll get another Warzone map?
 
I haven't finished yet, but I feel like 343i were pretty disingenuous calling it a 15-mission game with those two (at least so far) at the
Sanghelios base camp
.

I agree, the 'in between' stuff shouldn't really be missions really.

And yet, I spent 30-45 minutes in each of those. :p

I just checked the clock on my service record, since it in fact has one for campaign. I spent 18 hours doing solo Legendary (admittedly I also got 77 pieces of intel, so I was exploring tons). Subtract an hour or two for tooling around the first mission on Heroic.
 
Sometimes it really feels like I could literally stuff a grenade up the rectum of an enemy, and it would STILL do less damage to them than their grenades would do to me from 10 feet away. :(

Someone said something about a fireteam thread. I think that we need one and was infact thinking about asking a mod if it would be ok.
 
How long until they fix the DLC REQ packs that are not working? I still have my preorder and a promotional REQ pack left, which never showed up in the game.

Are you able to play other MP games? If not, click on this link, select Xbox One and make sure "Join Multiplayer Games" is set to "Allow".

That's the only idea I currently have. It's probably better to get into a live chat with the Xbox support. :/

I am, able to play Destiny with folks on PS4 for example.
That setting is set to allow.
 
Your teammates in the campaign are literally the worst AI I've seen this gen, embarrassing stuff really. No way I'm playing this solo, will have to be online.
 
Pro core destruction: Ram two Ghosts into the doorways. Spray the core. Unless they destroy them immediately the core goes boom in seconds.
 
Finally did that mission 14 fight on the 2nd try after posting here and watching a legendary video. Didn't spot the
incineration cannons at the side, also v pleased it checkpoints after each warden!

Overall ... I think this is my absolute favourite single player Halo yet. CE of course has the wow factor for being the first time, but let's be honest there were some terrible levels in there.

Loved the story, genuinely don't get the people who were confused or thought it odd, I found it really compelling especially the last few levels when
Cortana really starts to let rip
. Thought it came together brilliantly at the end, I just wonder if they considered having
level 14 as the final level, in an "Empire strikes back" style ("goodbye, John") then level 15 opening the next game. It's beautifully poised for Halo 6 - I do wonder if we will finally see Spartan 117's face, and him retiring...

Brilliant work everyone at 343. Absolutely top notch. 10/10 from me.


Edit: Make it 9/10, the fire team Ai is special levels of stupid sometimes.

Brofist. A buddy of mine who watched me play started to SCREAM when I explored every nook and cranny of the Sword of Sanghelios camp. I want more of this, with more story elements in future Halo games.

99.99 percent of people probably ran through them though.

Are you talking about the premium packs? Because I am sure that I have not received my first two either.
 
I have a feeling Chief needs a little time off. Make a independent game in vein of Reach or ODST to give yourself some opportunity to explore gameplay and lore.

Cortana is the only level I absolutely refuse to play anymore.

Triple warden fight was doable , and well, it's just one room. Ch. 14 & 15 has other locations of infinite rage :P

Btw. Has Microsoft released any statement regarding the sales? I mean, Halo 4 broke sales records and I'd say if Halo 5 had done the same we'd know.

Yeah pistol is lovely. I just get more irrationally annoyed when killed by the AR than any other weapon. Fair fucks if someone takes me out with a pistol or a BR or something, just not running in wildly flailing the AR hose around.

I'm just bitter probably.

In warzone the ai's shoot the dead bodies and walls etc lmfao it pisses me off cus I think more people are attacking but nope just the noobs busy shooting corpses of players that died 30 seconds prior

I know that feel, man.

Worst is when the AR gets you for a ridiculous range.
 
The ar is just so powerful at such a long range that it's impossible not to feel agitated when some scrub sprays everywhere and gets kills

I honestly wish it wasn't in the game - it really ruins the nice precision weapon gameplay when it gets used - which happens way too often considering how easy it is to get kills with it
