Halo 5: Guardians |OT| The Trials of Osiris

Yep, having a great time with this game. But more maps, please. :) (and I'm pretty sure I got Stronghold on The Rig 4 times in a row during that last session)

A code but you can exchange for a disc by contacting MS customer support.

Incorrect, MS support says you can only do this with the Collectors game not the system. We've had multiple people complain at the store I work at part time as MS support refuses to help console owners.

Why can I not select rally points in the campaign? I don't want to play all of a mission just to get the collectables at the end.

It's amazing how good I can do one match and then terrible next match. Like

19-8 and then 7-15 differences.

I feel the DMR needs one less HS to kill though. Anyone else agree?

This Game!!!

Was touch and go with them having more Capture Points the whole time, but us having more Game Points.

They kill the Warden, it goes to 915-930 with us having 2 Capture Points and they having just The Spire.

I was scared of fucking up our comeback, so I really didn't do much.

I hate spawning with a weapon only to die because I appeared in someones scope view on spawn. One use weapons is really annoying.

So many req packs opened, and no DMR. Am I doing this wrong? Should I be opening silver and bronze packs instead of gold?

for being an uncommon or rare, weapons are really unlikely in these req packs.

I have a shit ton of armours and helmets but only a few guns, from mostly gold packs...

You know, 343, if you're going to give us radar at least make it useful. The radar range in this game seems so pitifully small that it really makes it useless
I just don't agree.

It works fine if you pay attention...

I remember this kind of crap from you the other day, I'm very confused as to why you post gifs like this to prove your point when in fact you're making a fool of yourself? One gif doesn't mean shit, isn't applicable to all scenarios and for fucks sake it's arena with a lone enemy coming at you. Clearly it's going to be worse in arena. Unless what--your idea of good gameplay is camping? Oh and in FFA, situational awareness be damned trust me you'd wish you had a decent radar if you spend even a small amount of time in that gametype. You'll have 2 to 3 enemies coming at you at once for nearly the whole game, WHEREVER you are in the map.

Kinda kidding, but fucking junior :p

So what is considered a permanent item in a pack? The whole thing is that you're supposed to purchase Silver packs until you stop getting permanent items then you start buying gold.

Man what a game and comeback on March on Storm break, we were dominated the entire match and were down 585 to 888 just as the Warden Eternal was warping in and won it 1000 to 971 in a desperate finish. at that point we had just regained control of the eastern armory and had control of the fortress. In a span of a couple of minutes we took down the Warden and his minions, captured the west armory and drove them back to their home base and the vulnerable core.

Talk about a satisfying win.

I just got a Weapon Skin for my Magnum...but it ain't a DMR.

So what is considered a permanent item in a pack? The whole thing is that you're supposed to purchase Silver packs until you stop getting permanent items then you start buying gold.

Usually the 2 Items at the Front of the Pack.

So:

- Helmet
- Armor.
- Weapon Skin.
- Visor.
- Emblem.
- Loadout Weapons.
- Vehicle Certifications.
- Special Weapon Cetifications.
- Armor Mods.

Armor, visor, skins, req items and so on...

Everything you cant sell or isnt a one time use like a tank.

Is this the consensus now? I started buying Silvers yesterday instead of Golds. I do enjoy opening twice the packs :)

I'm going to start opening bronze packs now. Just got two back to back common certifications. Trying to get rid of them for my silver packs

I spent some time in FFA the other day. Was perfectly happy with the radar.

WHAT NOW.

I do too but I feel like I have a better chance getting a DMR in a gold than a silver so that makes me want to open more 10k packs :/

the regular DMR is a rare item correct? I'm level 37 and still don't have one...

How the shit is hiding behind solid objects while you recharge and then getting the drop on your opponent CAMPING? Holy shit.

I have switched over to Bronze as you quickly unlock the important basic weapons and vehicles (which are classified as Common).

I will do bronze until I have unlocked the remaining Common weapons and vehicles (still need turret, plasma pistol and rail gun)

Typically I get 2 permanent unlocks for every 4 packs (5000 REQ) which is the same as silver and gold.

Edit: also it seems like most of the armor cards are Uncommon so focusing on bronze allows you to much quicker unlock some important weapons and vehicles.

This is why you frontload with bronze and silver. Much better odds of getting actual rares from gold if you decrease the number of locked lower tier cards first.
Yeah, I think I'm going to switch over to doing this. Seems to be the consensus based on the last few posts in here!

Seriously 343, losing 150 points because some dude spawns a Spartan Laser and gets the finishing shot all the way across the map is bullshit. Game should reward teamwork, not opportunism.

I'm glad Fallout 4 is coming out next week. This game is a lot better than Halo 4, but if 343 doesn't address these problems we're gonna see a serious population dropoff.

Dunno, maybe spend more time than 150 kills there and maybe you'll work your way up to play against more opponents higher ranked than gold?

Uh oh, are the post-your-halo-5 stats police gonna come out of hiding now?

I'm nothing special but I've spent enough time in FFA to know that a lot of the changes that halo 5 brought with it are bullshit. FFA is a clusterfuck, no two ways about it. Even if you have a brilliant game it doesn't feel as satisfying because half of your kills will probably be from getting the jump on several Spartans already preoccupied and one-shot. I know mine are.

Warzone Assault is some bullshit

I don't think Attackers can ever possibly win

Some maps are definitely harder on attack

The one where Spire is the first capture point is so easy to defend.

Literally fighting uphill on all sides as an Attacker on that one.

start with bronze. you'll open certs which are more important at first and gets variety further down the road with silver and gold.

343 PLEASE stop putting me in servers on the other side of the world.

God damn, have to spend an entire Magnum mag getting hitmarkers before people consider dying!

I think ill buy that virtual ticket after all. Fuck it!
