Wait, shouldn't we have gotten a new incarnation reveal by now?

George is a dragon slayer of the highest prestige. As a special class of soldier from the Iron Kingdom, it is his duty to travel through the regions of the empire and quell any troublesome monsters or demons. His lance Scalesbane, crafted along with his chainmail from remnants of his first kill, has proven quite effective in his battles against unholy creatures.

The Iron Kingdom is rapidly growing through aggressive campaigns of conquest, but George cares not for their policies or politics. His authority extends to the borders of the empire, yet he knows that greater evils lurk in every corner of the world.

Something inside me said "watch this guy's name be George" when I first saw the cropped screenshots of him days ago. I am not surprised by this news. However, what does surprise me is this man's eyebrow game.

Not my favourite incarnation design, but I guess being simple and understated is the point of his character, like Adam. You should consider selling his ouroboros scarf - there's already a precedent for similar designs:

I think you guys need to go all the way with eye brows and have them be wings our some crazy shit like that or eye brows possessed by a demonic presence

Alright I plunged in, even though I'm trying to keep costs down these months. Was going for the $60 tier, but the physical reward would bump it up to $75 so I went with the $30(+$15) tier instead.

Hopefully more people will back near the end of the campaign's run when the 'NOW OR NEVER' mentality kicks in.

...Also that dude uses a dragon's tail for a spear? Hahaha

George strikes me as the kind of incarnation that really shines depending on his environment. On his own he's not much, but he'll look great on wide open plains, in forests and whenever he is surrounded by lots of lush green colors. Unlike a lot of the other incarnations he's a lot more specialized. We all know that we have a certain image of Western European knights (even more if they look English) in our heads and it's not set in Ancient Burma or Tibet.

A neat little image put together by someone on the SkullHeart forums:

Here's a more detailed version

Also, while I'm here, I just wanted to say that I hope the crowdfunding for this game is successful. It'd be a damn shame if it wasn't; from what I've read, we'd not just miss out on a unique game but a great dev studio too

This all started because Joe Madureira (!!!) reached out to us about a crossover. We liked the idea, so I reached out a bunch of other indies and they all agreed.

Besides how awesome that sound, did this offer happen during or before IndieGogo? (Eh don't answer I guess if the details are under NDA though)

At the end it shows the clear screen with the option to open up the web browser to go to the indiegogo page.

I wonder if there's a way they could put a message at the very beginning. idk, these are just ideas because I would really like to see this get funded. I pledged $60 at the beginning of the campaign and will probably add to that pledge at some point before the campaign ends.

You added a character named George. I hope you realize I now will never remove him from my party.

How is he holding that Spear? It looks like it's just floating behind his back.

Crossover characters is such a cool idea to go along with the "team building" aspect of this game. Props!

Hoping this will provide the momentum we need to get there.

Well, today is now the third best day of the campaign (after the first two days). Not by a lot, mind you, and there's still a long way to go but... hey, that's something. Hopefully all this can result in a higher daily baseline until the end of the campaign.

Considering everyone in the US is still at work, this is very encouraging.

How much has been made today, already?

Instead of donating to this game I bought one of these.

We're trying to see if we can get flair for all the Lab Zero people to help with this.

Aye it looks much better now. Far easier to go through quickly for answers.

A bunch of sites are starting to post about the guests now, so hopefully the donation train will keep rolling.

It's definitely an uphill battle, but I still think it has a chance. It really depends on where the campaign is when the last three days hit. I've seen projects get as much as 40% of their funding in the home stretch, so if the daily pledges continue to tick up as they have been, you never know. Stranger things have happened.

I honestly think that a lot of folks are just waiting until the last few days of the campaign before they contribute, especially if they wanted to contribute a lot of money.

I say this, because I think a lot of people would consider it a "safe investment", because with Indiegogo taking your money immediately after you contribute, they would get refunded fairly quickly if the campaign were to fail. If the campaign is a success, then good deal, their contribution helped make that happen.

I don't know, that's what I think. Regardless, it's never over until it's over.

I still believe, especially in the 40 day scenario
because competing with Black Friday is not going to end well for us and no one seems to be talking about that
.

I'm moving from my $100 tier to $125. It's not much, but if even half of the people in the $100 tiers and down moved up a tier we'd have an extra few hundred thousand dollars and that can't hurt.

They are and when shiny plasmas are on major discount come black friday Indivisible is going to find itself in a bad place. That is why I hope people put their money where their mouth is already (if they can).

I might be dumb, but I don't think their campaign really syncs up with Black Friday at all? It ends in 11 days which is before BF. If they get the extension isn't it extended by 20 days which puts it past BF? Or is it only 10? If we consider that people tap out on money spending after BF then you have a point though.

Overall, I think this will pass with the last minute pushing it to extension, then more time to pay, and another last minute push. I'm probably being hopeful though.

Finished playing through the prototype. Definitely an interesting setup, though even at the end I wasn't sure I'd completely gotten the hang of defending and chaining attacks. Still, I liked it overall and will certainly back for $30 on Friday once I get my paycheck. Not much but I hope it can help.

The point is it will compete with people putting money aside for a something big on Black Friday versus putting their money towards this game.

Especially with those with a preset spending budget and are planning to buy a new TV or such to replace one they currently have. 11 Days before Black Friday might not make much difference when it comes to the choice of someone contributing $200 to Indivisible compared to say getting a 50' HDTV for $200, like what Amazon had was selling last year.

Since Indiegogo campaigns take money up front and don't refund you until after the campaign ends if it doesn't succeed, for those hoping to nab some super discounted stuff, having their money held up in a crowdfunding campaign might not be an appealing option.

In my case it doesn't matter because I compartmentalize my spending for putting so much towards Indivisible, and so much towards replacing the broken TV in my living room. I hope other people planned like me for both scenarios in getting their BF stuff as well pledge for Indivisible's goal to become a reality.
