The one thing Im happy about is rock solid performance.

Im happy FO4 is bigger than FO3.

How many locations did FO3 have? It was fun going around in that game, Im hoping FO4 has things as fun as Tranquility Lane

Do we know much about moral consequences? There's no karma, but there has to be...something right?

Quest choices and actions that change NPC behavior, even locks certain things out, settlement hostility, etc?

Sucks there's no factiona. I feel like factions are prettt crucial for a world like Fallout's

Looks like instead of using reputation like Fallout NV, they've decided to go

Full on Skyrim, by having medium sized factions you join and complete quests for like the Fighter's guild, the Thieves guild etc. Names of factions in next spoiler.


4 major factions in the game that have their own quests tracked alongside main quests/side quests. Brotherhood of Steel, The Institute, The Minutemen, and the Railroad.

The whole "game is based five years after FO3 is going to attract massive hate, but it'll be so much fun. Meet the Lone Wanderer in FO3? Please? Bioware did Hawke, come on Bethseda don't write him out.

Keeping in mind Oblivion's and Skyrims are both bumped much higher because of DLC content, astronomically higher in the case of Shivering Isles, and it looks like we've got a GAME on our hands. Still, considering Bethesda have only made 8 hires in 4 years, it very much looks like they're hitting the cap for what they can do with a 120 man studio, esp when CD Project Red went balls to the walls with 200 plus. And it showed.

Fallout 3 had about 130 locations before the DLC all came out, another comparison, New Vegas had 167.
 
I read some of those unique perks ... one of which makes me sorta happy. Time to wait impatiently for the game now. super spoilery I'm telling you its spoilery in this spoiler

About that last spoiler...

It seems we get a Deathclaw companion or something, not play as one, right? It says "The deathclaw does increased damage when fighting anybody who isn't the player."

It is sarcasm. I'm just paraphrasing a certain comments from the PC screenshot thread. I was literally called an "idiot" for defending this game against accusations that the devs strategically skimped out on graphics to make the most amount of money. Apparently I was also responsible for Bethesda not making better games because I don't hold them to task when I "vote for mediocrity with my wallet". More specifically this is barely an upgrade from Fallout 3. It's no magnum opus but it's definitely not MADE FOR LAST GEN CONFIRMED.

Anyway more screenshots from the stream. Keep in mind these are not native resolution and it is subject to heavy artifacting due to the video encoder.

And yes I am implying it looks good. Because it does. It's not witcher 3... but it's not bad either.

Probably because character development is a real thing and it'll be an awesome before and after shot. He'll prolly be an angsty teenager or something, well written and compelling character, don't worry about it.

Have not been keeping up with the game that much...

Any word on how the PS4/Xbox One version is running? Are they both 30fps/1080p or did they go with a different resolution? I know they are not 60fps, but just curious how the console versions turned out.

Both 1080 30fps.

Solid performance from both so far.

Just a heads up for the people with Amazon price mistakes. Amazon is now in the process of raising the price back up to $50.

What was the price mistake? I just have missed it. All I know it that they are going to charge me $50, and I'm happy for that.
