After watching the openings the thing looks too cheap so I cancelled my Pip Boy Edition.

And I really REALLY would recommend buying it for big rpgs like this. For the Witcher 3 that guide was a godsend. It pointed to me where all of the armor schematics I wanted were, gave you a recommended order to do quests, points you to cool locations, etc. Not to mention chances are there's a more visually appealing map of the world instead of having to look at the pipboy map with its simple graphics lol.

Dammit, you convinced me to buy it. I was writing off how useful The Witcher 3 guide was but forgot that it quickly got me some upgraded gear when I was stuck and found a ton of other Gear Sets with it.

Didnt use it much for quests since I didnt want to spoil myself, but it was a good tool to find all the Love Interests ;)

Profits don't matter to me as I'm not a scalper and out of a self immposed pricinpal I stopped selling my games since 2008 so now my games sit in my collection (Collecting dust in a box or closet).
 
Had a thought about the spoken names: I wonder if it will be 1000 of the most popular names in each language for which the game has a dub. Here's a list of the languages: https://bethesda.net/#en/events/gam...allout-4-important-release-info/2015/10/08/35 It's basically all the main European languages and Japanese. There's probably a lot of overlap with the European languages (Hebrew names and all), but I wonder if they're doing the whole process again for the Japanese voice track. Would be interesting.

I had a similar question but I haven't seen it answered yet - either by someone who already has a copy or by someone who can say something about it through leaked videos. Although I could've read over it, this topic goes fast.
 
Been going back and forth on selling my og titan and upgrading to a 980 ti. I know new stuff is next year but newer games at 2560x1600 are starting to show it's age. Guess we'll see how Fallout 4 runs at ultra settings before making any decisions.
 
For a functional $60 prop essentially, surprised ppl are calling the pipboy cheap. Even crappy do it yourself fan made kits go for more than that.

Also, why aren't we seeing PS4 screens, footage since I thought a couple people confirmed they have it and from what I've seen the recording features are only locked out on Xbox One. That one guy was compiling a list of things people wanted to see then dropped off the face of the Earth apparently.

Those are disguised loading screens, aren't they? I wonder what'd happen if you jumped down from there. Do you hit a loading screen? Do you just hit a random killzone mid-fall, before the game would have to load the outside cell? Do you actually fall down and (most likely) die from impact with the ground?

These are the questions I need answered

Yeah it's annoying but I saw the rest of the footage during the stream. It's supposed to initiate a conversation. Too bad Bethesda didn't do something to give the player an idea that the companion wants to talk to you other than them repeating the same line of dialogue over and over.
 
So Bethesda has said that the game has no level cap and I have a theory about what that means. Streams have shown that areas the player clears of mobs are marked "cleared" on the map. So, maybe there is a limit to the XP you can earn because mob respawns are constrained or even unavailable.

If so, putting points into INT are important if you wish to maximize your levels/perk points.
 
Piper and dogmeat are sitting on the bench. I really hope there's a companion better than codsworth, even though he has flamethrower.

They'll probably respawn like in Skyrim.

If it's anything like Skyrim, "cleared" places will respawn (though it takes longer).

Someone else thought of this some pages ago and I immediately went on full alert mode lol. Gonna get every perk relating to XP unless I learn otherwise.
