It feels just about right. Around the same as Skyrim, possible bigger.

Absolutely. I'm just taking my time. Alternating between exploring, doing main quests, doing side quests etc. Quests have been good thus far, even though there's already been quite a few "go to location X, kill y guy". I haven't really been digging too much into the settlement thing yet, and I'm glad it's optional.

Nothing major yet.

Absolutely. As I mentioned earlier, I would say performance is better than vanilla Skyrim (360).

Thanks for answering these questions. If I would be you I'd never even think of opening my internet browser. I'd lock myself up like in a bunker until people think im dead.

Max Landis attended the gala Bethesda premiere-party last night in L.A.:

I need to see some photos from said party before I can form a complete opinion on this matter.

Is there any post-creation character editing... hair, beard, etc.? Just curious if they're still locking you in to eary choices for the entire game again.

What do you mean again? You could change your entire face in both NV and 3 even after you left starting area, although they were found fairly far into the game.Barbers that changed your hair/beards were more common

So since Nexus Mod Manager apparantly has turned to utter shite recently, what Mod Manager will be available for Fallout 4?

What's wrong with NMM now? Haven't played Skyrim on PC a while and uninstalled all my mods a few months ago. Recently decided to take a look and I notice it uses the same virtual system used by Mod Manager. Doesn't it work, or something?

Steam is not pre loading the game, anyone else having this problem? It stopped halfway while pre loading.
I did it fine this morning in the UK. Try quitting Steam and starting again. Maybe Steam's being hit hard with the pre-loads? Unlikely but I see no reason why it shouldn't work.

Better than Bloodborne, at least.

Yet BB loadings are better then the Witcher 3 that has loading times for fast travel and respawns of more than a minute in Velen/ Novigrad map. What surprizes me is that in BB ppl made a big deal about it, and in The Witcher 3 no one talks about it.

I think people are more lenient with the W3 because it's a massive game, plus you expect to die a lot in BB. Loading times in BB has improved a lot though.

Hmm... maybe I'm confusing it with Skyrim. It's been so long since I played FO3. Sorry for any confusion.

Because you died like once per hour in Witcher 3 and like 15 times per hour in Bloodborne.

Running into a lot of issues with item weight restrictions. Does anybody else who has the game know of any early-game item storage options? I haven't touched the settlement stuff, not really my thing, but it seems like that might be an option.

The OT won't, nor should it be, a negative insult against the game. Why would it be?

Blops 3 OT is called "No content for old gen", making fun of how hilariously incompetent the last-gen versions of the game are, and I'm sure there are tons of other examples.

I think making a bit of fun of the game in the title is alright, in fact, it's better than a boring title that's just praising the game. I think "graphics, graphics never change" is fine, just a friendly jab, and clever to boot.

But I understand if it's no go.

Just got my steam key from cdkeys, preloading now. What are early impressions?

Quickly formulated mental image on something during the first encounter of said something, but that's not important right now

Performance-wise mixed, some negatives about the dialogue system but mostly positive from what I've read
(not actual game spoiler)

Try: player.Modav carryweight 9999

Just had the big twist in the story spoiled for me. Someone put it in a gif that was meant to be gameplay but switched to big bold text that ruined the game. Aww man. :(

Also I guess platform matters because on PC load times when fast traveling within a continent is like five seconds.

After 800 or so "this game looks like crap, it's like a last gen game, oh my god, I'm gonna pass, bethesda's a joke, blah blah, etc" type posts before the OT even exists, I'm pretty sure we don't need to encourage more people to shitpost the game's graphics. I know that won't be the OT, but just sayin'.

Loading times in The witcher 3 also are huge on fast traveling. And i spent much more time fast traveling in the witcher then respawning on BB. Thats why im pointing fingers at Witcher 3 loading times that it had a much more negative impact on my experience than BB. And I died once per hour as average in BB, not 15 times. Rarely died in Witcher 3.

Shit, I feel sorry for you!
Don't go outside of this thread folks. The wasteland is dangerous. Fuck these spoiler-raiders :/
