I have not seen any footage from the game whatsoever apart from the E3 trailer when it was released, the launch trailer and stray untagged screenshots here and there. Character creation is a total non-spoiler for me. I love planning out everything.
As someone said, they grant unique 1 rank perks. I'm not sure they have been leaked yet. The only one I know of is the melee bobblhead which grants
permanently 25% increases critical damage with melee weapons

If you hold the VATS button outside of combat and have a mission selected, a big green path shows up, but doesn't last very long. I have it but I kinda regret spending a point on it.

After watching these streams the past few days,I still think that the world itself looks totally fine and its just the npcs that can break your immersion.
Even with upgraded animations,they still retain that gamebryo jank
I still think its an acceptable cost though in exchange for npcs that you know are actually part of the world and not windowdressing like in W3.It's not even like I go on killing sprees,its just the thought that I could and they'd actually react
