I'm going for the friendly and approachable look. I think I've pulled it off.

Yeah... I'll definitly ask you for directions if I'm lost.

I'm not actively reading it because who cares + fear of spoilers, but I glanced over and just a wave of hate speech blurring by the likes of which the world has never seen..

yea it has a ton of spoilers, i mistakenly loaded the chat and got spoiled, just stay away from it; it's filled with the worst kind of people on the internet

That's it for today. Stumbled upon a dungeon which I spent almost an hour in. Just reached level 17. I guess I've played 12-14 hours or something. I've really just scratched the surface,

For those of us planning our characters:

How many dialog options have you come across in your 12 hours where it seemed you needed a good charisma?

He's fair and kind, but if you mistake his kindness for weakness he'll shoot your limbs off.

There were a couple hiccups during the prologue but apart from that it's solid. Haven't noticed any dips or screen-tearing from around 3 hours of play.

There are some framerate problems, mostly indoors but I don't think it has anything to do with the engine. It's just not optimized..like.....all Bethesda games

Quite often to be honest. I guess somewhere between 15 and 30 during those 12 hours. A bit on thin ice there, but surprisingly many thus far.

Booted up Fallout 3 on the old 360 last night. Just finished The Family mission and found a whole new NPC I have never seen before lol, been playing the game since launch day and still found something new all these years later. The worst part is that he wasn't even hidden, just the merchant in The Family's base. The wait until Monday night is going to feel like an eternity.

Settlement question for those that know:

How do I establish supply lines between settlements? I have both ranks of the local leader perk.

ADS?

Who uses ADS in New Vegas?

Raises hand? In fact outside of Melee I almost never use vats in NV any more. I know the gunplay isn't great but ADS just feels more accurate than using vats. Especially since things often run straight at you... the only complaint being when they do the opposite and the bad AI shines through when the are running backwards firing at you while perfectly navigating complex geometry.

Ahh, reminds me of Destiny!
I use ironsights 90% of the time iv I'm not using VATS. More for the authentic feel then gameplay as such. However the gunplay in Fallout 4 is greatly improved by all counts so ADS could be particularly good.

A similar thing happened to me-

Just think we’ll soon have a whole new world to explore for more experiences like this. :)

Still no pre-load up for PS4!? Come the hell on Sony! With how slow normal downloads are on PSN this will take a week to get at this rate =(

The PS4 theme that you get from pre-ordering this in PSN is so lazy, lol.

Basically just a wallpaper... they don't even have a theme music.

Ah well, c'est la vie.

Whoa, I put well over 100 hours into Fallout 3 and I didn't even know about the Arlington Cemetery! Reading up on Fallout 3 stuff on that wikia site seems like a good way to pass the time until release for me.

I knew about the cemetery but i've never been in that area with the house. I dont know how, i thought i searched every inch of the map. And just think Fallout 4 is bigger!

EDIT- beaten! Exactly, nuka soda. lol.
