Yeah I didn't think it mattered but nothing I do is working. Everything says VPN is fine but Steam still displays like I'm on EST in the US but AU VPN is definitely on.

I had that problem with FlyVPN. Unlimited VPN works fine until it finally connected to the Sydney server. In fact, the game is launching right as we speak! Omg omg omg.
 
Hey zukuu, you mentioned that there was a book to get an extra skill point right in the beginning. Is that the [/spoiler] you're special [/spoiler] book on the baby dresser? If so does it give it to you right away or do you have to wait until you get away from that area? I activated it but it didn't give me a point right there.

I've tried softether, vypr and unlimited. All connected but none fooled Steam. I've done this before without issue so I don't understand why it's not working.
 
VPN unlimited loads, and it says connected, but how do I switch servers? I can click down the list, but it doesn't seem to connect to any of them........

And did I blame him? I literally say "it's my own damn fault". Can't get much clearer than that. No need for that attitude.

That said, if he wants story spoilers he's currently not in the right place. There's a spoiler thread, I added a link to it in the OP.
 
wow the console fps is terrible. i really hope i can get it running well on my PC now. i don't want to have to buy it for PS4 or XB1. also those textures, what the hell?

I get that he didn't need to actually explain the ending considering he knows it and there's no use for him to do so, but it's behind spoiler tags... Plus he's made it so that you know beforehand what you're getting spoiled about before highlighting it. I just don't see how it is his fault if that other guy can't hold himself back.

Well the last time I used VPN it wasn't working for me and I realized I was logged in on my laptop aand browser. So definitely check your browsers. And check mobile, though I can't confirm if that matters. Been trying to figure that out.

Considering I'm at work my bet is I will come home to a locked game, but that's okay as I will have time to get it working when I get home. My remote access is not working , probably because of the VPN connection.

May have come off a bit more confronting than I intended, and I apologize for that. But after that I clearly state it's my own fault. So no, I didn't blame him. But I do reiterate that this is not the best place to be posting spoilers right now, whether they be tagged or not.

After an hour of sitting here confused my Macbook being logged in elsewhere was totally the issue, thanks!
 
I like the OT... a lot... Love can bloom even in the wasteland? As a person who knows nothing about Fallout, I'm curious now. I still didn't care about the series until looking at the OT. How much freedom and choice is there in the series?
 
For some reason in the beginning character screen the male character has no voice, only the female. Later on with the vault-tec interviewer I cannot hear any voice or talking from both of them... it could be some voice files missing.

I might need to redownload :(
 
So according to Jim Sterling having a strength build seems highly beneficiary if you're going to focus on building settlements. Not necessary, but saves you from having to cart junk to build shit back and forth a lot.

Also, I can't remember if it was confirmed or not, but can you have two companions at once?

A lot, this series lets you do whatever you want, shoot everyone and even ignoring the main quest!

As I said in my post, don't blame you, it's my own fault. I've linked the spoiler thread in the OT now, so we can hopefully avoid situations like these in the future.

Has Fallout always had a good main story? Hasn't it always been about the Vaults and the contents inside?

I mean, there is a reason for spoiler tags. Tags aren't needed in spoiler threads and spoiler tags are made for talking about these things in OT. He used the tags and labelled what he was talking about. If you clicked it: oops.
