About 2/3rds through I'd say. It could be longer depending on your choices.I still have to beat New Vegas. I'm doing the quest to get the boomers to like me. Guessing I'm not close?
I imagine most people aren't at a place to answer this yet, but do powersuits ever become something you can wear all the time? Or are the fusion core just not plentiful or long lasting enought to do that?
They drop weapons with unique modifiers like say "Incinerating Pipe pistol" that gun should have a fire proc. Those kinds of enemies are new so it's not clear if all these weapons are one offs or if the game just spawns random legendary enemies from time to time.
Previous Fallout games only had a handful of legendary enemies and they were always in certain areas. I'm not quite sure what legendary enemies in this game do just yet.
They drop special loot according to the Giant Bomb quick look. Like unique, named weapons for example.
Does pickpocketing work the same way?
It's a strip mine and it's supposed to be filled with water.
Hah, fair enough.Nope. You cannot "see" into their pockets before pickpocketing them.
Oh boy... The sun is setting, better make some doors...
Are you rewarded with better loot by playing the game on hard mode.
its like for some reason there is a layer of untextured ground above the normal ground. Some parts where I fall through, I land on actual textured ground and can see paths and stuff. Then sometimes I just fall and die
Wait a sec. Did I miss choosing the difficulty or does the option appear later in the game. I'm right now. Am I that blind? :/back at the house from the beginning and was told to go to concorde

Wait, wait, wait, why do I keep reading that this game is unlocking for people in 8 hours? Today, here on the West Coast of America is November 9th. Tomorrow is the 10th. That means Wednesday is the 11th. So, if the game releases on the 11th then I would expect to see it unlock Tuesday night at 9PM as they use Eastern Time as the standard and I am 3 hours behind them.
So, is this game unlocking for me TONIGHT?
After hearing about the performance, can anyone who has the Xbox one version and has sunk a bit of time into it please tell me how their experience has been? I don't know whether to cancel my pre-order tonight

This is what I've been trying to say since Thursday. This game has much better presentation than I expected.
The way the story is framed, the dialogue, the art style are vastly improved over Bethesda's previous games.
Honestly, bump back to normal for an hour or two and just get setup. Survival and very hard are extremely brutal at the early hours of the game.
Talk to him and there will be an option that says dismiss.
There's not much you can do using Twitch or YouTube to prevent at least 15 seconds of lag. If you are playing on PS4 and they have a PS4 also, you could have them spectate you using SharePlay which has no lag but it's limited to one connection at a time.
November 10th release bruh
is he gone forever? if you do that?
I hope there's a sniper rifle as good as the Gobi Camp Scout Rifle in this game.
I'm almost 6 hours in and I haven't ventured beyond Lexington. I built defenses and water for Sanctuary Hills and demolished the destroyed buildings and useless crap. It is definitely a very intuitive system and is easy to learn. I was worried it would be clunky.
How to destroy buildings? Unless you mean scrap everything inside?

That and the terrible shotgun was OP and awesome.I hope there's a sniper rifle as good as the Gobi Camp Scout Rifle in this game.
So for the people that already have the game, hows the radio? I love the licensed music in FO3/NV and I can't wait to mode it into fallout 4.
I find the atmospheric music to be better for the mood but the radio is as good as ever
Alright, so I've played about 2.5 hours and I'm loving it. The only thing I'm concerned about is the map size. Something about it feels small, but it's so densely packed that it'll probably end up feeling larger than it is.
