Nintendo Direct coming November 12 [Over]

I doubt the same Nintendo that didn't release a new game in October 2015 will release two games on February 2016.

I'd also argue that they'd keep February for Pokémon, they're having their 20th anniversary then and Pokémon is a much bigger deal than Zelda.

Nintendo released four new games in October.

This part doesn't make me believe that this leak is possible, why would Nintendo release 2 major Wii U titles in the same month? Even as part of Zelda's anniversary, they would probably release Twilight Princess and Star Fox in separate months to pad out the release schedule.

Didn't they release a major Zelda and Mario game on the same day last year?

This is nothing new for them

My expectations are at rock bottom: I'm thinking we'll just hear about things we already know.

I'd love to be wrong, but Nintendo hasn't had much of anything to say or show for months.

I'm fucking excited, but I'm prepared for a letdown

Exactly how I feel. I'm already preparing for disappointment, as Picross 3D 2, Rhythm Heaven, and Monster Hunter X fail to show up.

I'm not even contemplating the possibility of unannounced software.

Well, I'll try to sum it up for you:

If you're at all familiar with NUS Downloader, some people used it recently (last month) to see what new title updates Nintendo uploaded to their servers. Quite a lot came up, between VC titles like Hogan's Alley (which showed up on the eShop about a week after this list of title updates came out) and Wii digital titles. However, under the Wii U games part of the list, there were two games:

Twilight Princess HD (literally labeled as such) listed for Japan

And another game that escapes me right now but was listed for EU.

Then, on top of this, dataminers of the eShop found a Twilight Princess icon with no Wii banner logo like other digital Wii titles. The icon would presumably be used for the Wii U's OS, of course, where you'd launch the game.

It's basically happening, we just don't have official Nintendo confirmation.

Sweet! I'm excited. I don't have any expectations, so this should be lots of fun.

I'm gonna stay out of the thread so you guys' ridiculous hype over-dosing doesn't infect me. Been trying to stay clean. =|

what if it's bad

When has a direct rumour ever been right...

I wonder if they're focusing on this year (AKA nothing) or 2016.

If we're going into 2016, which seems likely, we will probably get the official confirmation of Twilight Princess HD.

Hopefully we get a Fire Emblem release date.
February please.

Separate systems though, if it were something like the Wind Waker HD and 3D World in the same month, then yeah.

Animal Crossing: amiibo festival and Mario Tennis aren't really anything major for Nintendo either since they're not promoting them that well.

A big Splatoon update is probably one of the things that will be covered, since they release a new weapon outside of the regular schedule just a day before the Direct.

Kirby Triple Deluxe and Mario Golf World Tour came out the same day in the US.

-Star Fox release date
-XCX launch trailer
-Fire Emblem release date for 3DS and some info re: SMT crossover for Wii U
-Smash Bros 3-character roster update
-Remaining Amiibo lineup (Roy, Ryu, et al) announcement
-Zelda U (cough *NX* cough) tidbit
-Some Kirby shovelware for Wii U
-Some dormant character shovelware for 3DS
-Nothing regarding NX despite the abandonment wasteland that Nintendo sentences all its consoles to when it moves resources to its next gen.

THE DROUGHT IS OVER

So let's see...

Smash DLC news
Splatoon DLC news
Maybe some last Xenoblade Chronicles X stuff
Devil's Third
Twilight Princess HD baby
Starfox Zero release date?

THAT'S GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME

Nice bonus would be at least SMT x FE localized name or something.
