My galaxy s6 doesnt fit in the pip boy...wouldve just been a minor annoyance since I didnt really figure Id use it as an actual phone holster much, but then I continued opening the CE to find that the steel book case is split in half at the seam...
I never played Vegas so I don't miss anything.
I've had that happen twice on the X1 in 7 hours.

Oh shit. I just love this. There is just so much in this game. I found a crashed commercial jet that had a giant master locked storage unit in it. I need to remember all these things!
Harvest what's there. Use the harvested materials to plant new crops. Wait a while (I did a couple random quests and slept a couple days). Harvest new crops. Use the harvested materials to plant new crops, etc.

Is there any way to disable hitmarkers on PC? I was looking for some kind of setting in the ini files

That's what it is. Not what it isn't. There are active effects, gun play being better isn't a bad thing. And while the level up system is streamlined, you can definitely have different builds.
BUG WARNING
Heads up GAF, I've found a reproducable bug that could become permanent if you aren't careful.
If you come across a water treatment plant occupied by Super Mutants, DON'T USE THE FINAL ELEVATOR BEFORE THE END. The invisible weapon/Pip Boy bug awaits you at the top without fail. I had to reload an old save, backtrack and exit the same way I came in to avoid it.

You're going to be wanting for damage after level 10 on hard or higher. At least I feel that way, but I may just be have in some more difficult areas lately.

Character creator is fun.
I'm playing on hard and can back this up. You can't neglect the combat perks in this game if you're bold enough to just venture anywhere. You need to strike a balance.

Hey guys, is there a list where I can see what names I can choose so it appears in audio?
Man, that family backstory just kills the first hour and I'm guessing the rest of the main game. It's just painful to watch Bethesda try and make you care about the family. The robot is a bro though. I was so set on being an ass but damn, I couldn't be mean to him.
Is the charisma option in dialogue chance based or a definite? I thought we sorted this out with New Vegas. Why regress? You're already dealing with a atrocious system, don't add RNG/save scumming to it. Seems to be everything 3 was but less. Bleh, I had hope briefly. Grand if people like it but please don't let this become the standard for RPGs. It's becoming harder and harder to call these games RPGs with a straight face.
Time to whip out the console commands.
Also, where is Ron Pearlman?

The sarcastic responses are pretty fun, yeah. They're somewhat reminiscent of Asshole Thorton from Alpha Protocol, where you can't really be "bad" but you can say dickish things to a lot of people in some amusing ways.
Not sure if they redeem the dialogue system in this game, though.

Oh man... in which platform are you playing this in? Is it PS4? Just a warning: there have been surprisingly quite often an occasion where the Subtitle just got STUCK on the previous line of dialogue even though the characters are already talking way beyond that line. I had it happened to me consistently during your first visit to the Freedom Museum... just a warning :/
I haven't tried it yet but can't you give them better armor and weapons to defend themselves with like in the past games?
Dumped 7 hours in on my first go. Despite it looking pretty ugly at times on PS4 I'm really enjoying my time with this game. They certainly delivered on the atmosphere. I hadn't played much Fallout after 3 so it feels good to dive in deep again.
My performance has been ok so far. Drops during hectic fights for sure, but I've found it manageable so far.

I copped the same thing. It was a power armor wearing Raider in Lexington and I believe the whistling was the Mini Nuke launcher.
