Halo 5: Guardians |OT| The Trials of Osiris

I really wish they were weekly playlists and not weekend ones. I work weekends and never have enough time to play much of them. Plus this game only has 7 playlists anyways, 8 wouldn't be too much.

Well, the game only has 6 Arena gametypes, so far and those are:

SWAT
Breakout
Shotty Snipes
Slayer
CTF
Strongholds

They can only make variations of those and you won't see anything like Infection, Grifball, Action Sack, etc. until they actually add those gametypes to the game.

I don't understand the lack of variety complaints, TBH. For MP anyways, this is the most solid MM experience ever. I never groan at any map combo. There's no stupid shit like 4v4 SMG Coag, Team Duals on Snowbound, Splockets on Valhalla, etc.

In the past,for every good game you had, you had to suffer through some awful abomination.

I'm just glad they started with a stellar base, they can easily keep patching in more gametypes.

I can't speak on campaign, FF, SpOps because I really don't care to replay any of that shit. They should definitely add more stuff in for people who want it though.

It's because if you aren't into Warzone, there is just slayer variants, strongholds, breakout, and CTF. The new modes are cool, but people are missing favorites like Oddball, and King of the Hill, BTB, infection, and all the social gametypes. There are also no maps with vehicles. Currently, there is a lot less variety than in all the previous titles.

Sure the base is cool. But people have come to expect variety right out of the gate.

lucky for me I really like Warzone. Should hold me over until the classic stuff arrives

I don't get why they're offering Shotty Snipers again? Why not just regular Snipers after how bad unlimited sprint, clamber and shotgun affected the game type on the small maps?

Until they make more gametypes available, I imagine the weekend playlist options will continue to be slayer variants, and CTF.

Voted doubles... It needs to be permanent... Quitters will likely never be a problem.
 
My constructive criticism, 343 employees plz read.

New maps out ASAP, new REQs, more gametypes in order of priority.
2nd most important thing is a SOCIAL GRAB BAG PLAYLIST, this has the 1st/2nd biggest impact on potential population declines in the game. TS/CTF/Stronghold, maybe even SWAT/Breakout/Snipes or in their own social playlist? I completely agree with having minimum playlists.
Make the weekend playlist 2x XP AND RP, also make it not ranked.
Add ranked Team Snipers and Doubles.
Add a post game medals screen, simple stuff.
Allow me to hear my fire team in the menus.
Remove the mindbogglingly terrible 1.5 second loading screen when I back out to the lobby/menu.
Try to make spartan companies in-game, getting so close to h2 clan system but fell short :(
Make the winning team be on top in the bottom right score counter and not the team your on, additionally organize players by team in custom games, so its RRRRBBBB instead of RBBRBRRB. No idea why this was changed and it cant take more than a day to change this right?
This is just my opinion but SLIGHTLY nerf AR and maybe autos in general, SLIGHTLY reduce magnetism (either wont happen but IMO it should).
Not my area but add campaign scoring/timing, at least make it inline with previous halos.
Please don't mess up file share.
Add theatre recording back, Xbox DVR's 720p isnt quite cutting it.
This is a long shot but make the "oracle mode" comparable to other esport games spectator modes.

You guys are close to a 10/10 halo game.
 
Am getting frustrated now.
WTF. I just shot two rocket launchers on one guy. In a locked base. And he did not die. I shot one with a DMR 4 times. Melee from behind and two shots and he still did not die. I died. WTF. WTF . WTF 343

Just Snipers cannot be a thing at the current time. There is no custom option to turn off secondary weapons. The only alternative would be to have the player spawn with a Beam Rifle, which isn't a bad idea.

I guess, I feel like WZ is the natural evolution of BTB. Though I was never that partial to BTB other than just dunking kids on H3 BTB all night.

And like I said, I can't imagine we'll be waiting long on Oddball/KOTH.

Should we have had to wait at all? Probably not, but I don't know the reasons for its omission to begin with.
 
Does anyone else consistently get button presses missed altogether? I do this in both Warzone and Arena. If you use an ability/sprint and quite quickly press shoot or grenade throw there is a tiny window of time that button input does not register.

I could make a video if my Xbox Clips or DVR would work... I actually recorded some the last two nights but they're MIA.

My sprint and change weapon some times takes a couple of button presses and I've tried both of my controllers. It's caused me to die quite a few times.

No way. How does it work in SWAT where you only have BR? Don't tell me they made the same mistake like in Halo 4, where they couldn't add more than 2 armor mods so you could only have resupply or no flinch, but not both.

Does this affect customs games? This is a pretty big oversight.

I'll have to look into it. I was just messing around with custom settings earlier, attempting to create a Breakout-esque mode with shields and different weapons and there was no option for no secondary.

EDIT: If you edit settings for SWAT, it has an Assault Rifle as the secondary weapon.

I have an "OG came with the console" controller and the Master Chief controller as well, they both have this issue when I play. Yep same here, I've died plenty from this.

I don't think it's by developer design to block button input and just forget it was pressed like it feels it does.

I have to wait until end of November to get my Elite controller before I can say it does the same or not.

I keep getting a discpnnected from local when match it starting up and loading in the last bar.
 
14 kills in Breakout, still can't win :'(

Want to start Fallout 4, but then I think about Bloodborne, Witcher 3 and MGS V that I'm part way through so I don't want to begin another so I avoid the situation and play multi haha.
 
War zone boss points need updated. Not only does it suck doing 99% of the damage and an enemy getting 1 cheap shot in and getting 150 points, it also sucks that if I have to reload right as the boss dies I get 0 points, even if I did all of the damage.

I don't mind it now. I've done some quick sneaky kills. The only thing I wish they'd change is to show damage indicators better, maybe have a percentage going down. So I know to get my ass in gear and start firing.

I can't wait for that human world Warzone map. I think that's one of the biggest issues right now. The low number of maps.
