It has been so long that I simply can't help but get hyped. I'm not a Twilight Princess 'believer' like the rest of you so if that shows up that'll be enough for me.
Also, that feeling when the government of your country decides to change the entire fucking time zone your country is in with the result that you'll be able to watch the Direct instead of being at work. Thank you based PNP!
I will be disappointed if we don't get the results of the Smash Ballot, though. That's one thing I expect.

It adds "authenticity" and "credibility" to the "leak"; it's off center, it's something people want, and not all of it is legible, so it has to be legit.

In one hand if real damnit I don't want anything to leak, it's been such a long time and if genuine surprises get leaked less than 2 days before this happens I'm gonna have to leave GAF until the actual Direct.

That would be very cool; a new way to play Splatoon with a few new weapon types matching a few characters. But I'm not expecting this; doing that for a ton of Amiibo, could be very time consuming and I'm not sure Nintendo would do that. I would like that, as I would love to see what a Mega Man or Sonic Inking would look like though

The capitalized "A" in "Amiibo" goes against Nintendo's style guide, e.g. Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival.
Also, aren't Splatoon levels called "stages" not "maps"?

Looks cool but pretty sure it's fake. As others have already pointed out I don't think Nintendo has ever used Amiibo with the capital A when referring to amiibo, so I doubt they'd slip up and start doing it now if it were actually real.
I think the Splatoon pic is real, it was posted by hacker NWPlayer, I know this guy, he (and other guys) are currently porting an exploit to latest Wii U firmware. He's not the kind of guy that make up things. Also it wouldn't be the first time that data mining reveal something, just remember Roy and Ryu.
That was my reaction when I saw it.
Then over the course of the day, the slow realization that I still have to wait through all of tomorrow. D:

Hotlinking from 4chan is usually a bad idea since being an image board the images are probably going to go down in a few hours, especially if its a popular thread and hits the bump-limit earlier than later.
EDIT: Also graphically that looks a lot worse than Triple Deluxe did on the same system, though I guess maybe it could be a fully open 3D Kirby? Definitely leaning towards fake though.
