Nintendo Direct coming November 12 [Over]

So we have confirmation about the following:
-Content for Splatoon is coming (new stage)
-Smash DLC is being announced
-Pokemon News will be announced (Pokemon Z and/or Pokken being shown off)
-Mario Maker DLC being announced
-Zelda Triforce Heroes getting updates/DLC (data-mined content proving that)
-Zelda TP HD being leaked from Nintendo's servers.
-Minecraft Wii U being announced at the direct and releasing after the direct ends

Add in hopeful news of Updates for Ultra Smash, 3DS Localizations being announced and more news on Star Fox Zero and #FE, and the show is shaping up to be very enjoyable :).

It's just a spin-off. Akin to tri-force heroes. I understand that it's been a while since the last metroid game, but that's no reason to loathe it. Just don't buy it and move on. It existing doesn't mean it replaced metroid.

Some people sadly think otherwise

Haven't read through the entire thread so sorry if this has been asked.

What are the chances Nintendo announces and releasing one of their mobile games today? I feel like this would be a great way to leap into the mobile market.

Also, its nice that I actually own a Wii U and this direct might actually have news that will interest me!

0% chance. Nintendo mentioned they wouldn't be talking about it or NX.

I'm hoping we'll finally get an admission that 3D world was a repurposed 3Dland 2 and we're finally getting a real wiiu Mario

Unless proved otherwise in tonight's Direct, it definitely has replaced Metroid for the current generation of Nintendo systems.

I'm not hating it, I'll buy it and I might enjoy it if it's fun to play, but even if Other M was a bad game, it was still better news for the franchise than this spin-off...

New Splatoon stage coming tonight leaked on Splatoon.net, you need to be signed into miiverse to see: https://splatoon.nintendo.net/schedule

That's one thing sure to be in the direct lol

In case someone cannot or too lazy to login to splatnet

Yooo, let's go!!

Are we expecting to see something at all from the ballot, or is it too soon? If not, I'm pretty darn sure we're getting Inklings or Wolf.

who gives a flying f about TP HD. have had it with these shitty HD re-release. how many times do you want to play the same game? TP HD is a no news, ninja eshop title if you ask me.

would love to see the new console Zelda but of course that will be a no show. these Nintendo directs are lame. will still watch it in hopes of new Zelda.

You want new games for that expensive console you bought? Look at Mr entitled here.

...Wait, people actually think Federation Force is worse than Other M? Like, I'm as disappointed by the bizarre spinoff as any Metroid fan, but at least it looks fairly harmless as far as continuity and franchise impression goes. If we had gotten a Federation Force instead of an Other M then Samus' portrayal in Smash would have been the Prime version instead of... well.

Dark Horse choices for hype surprises.

-Diddy Kong Racing 2.

I want this. I want this so bad. Racing games interest me so minimally but the original DKR is one of the best games ever to me. I even like the DS port a lot, touchscreen shenanigans and all. The rumor swirling around this game and its use of characters like Rusty, Mallo, and other "B-tier" Nintendo stars is wonderful and fits the big N so well. I'd love to see this come to pass.

-Luigi's Mansion & Dark Moon 2-Pack HD Remaster

Might as well dream big. I need more Polterpup in my life. I didn't 100% the game. So if this comes out, please allow explorable mansions to get missing gems and Boos.

-New Capcom 2D Zelda.

Eh, why not keep dreaming big. Capcom showed they could make masterful 2D Zelda games. I'd love to see what they could do on 3DS. The Oracle games and Minish Cap are among my favorite Zeldas. Animal Buddies and Subrosia need to make a comeback.

-DLC for Kirby & Toad.

-I just want more of these delightful games. Please also add a mid-zoom option for Toad so I don't have to strain to see the details on my TV. That's my #1 Nintendo patch request by far.

DKR2 is E3 material.. No way we're getting that if its actually in production.

Wouldn't be the first time metroid skipped a generation of systems. Nintendo needs to go back to the drawing board, clearly. Metroid sales have been on the decline and they fumbled bad with other M. Let them release a little spin-off, and await metroid on the NX.

I predict Midna as the new fighter for the Smash Bros.

She's already in the latest smash bros
as an assist trophy

the special nintendo minute will probably be nothing important
maybe they go hands on with the staff for a new game shown in the direct or something

This list seems to be about a half hour worth of content. Maybe throw some indie stuff and a Capcom game trailer.

I think we basically have a good idea of the content at this point. It's just details that are missing to be filled in.

so about these new rumors I'll be honest, don't care about minecraft on wii u, i'm sure a lot of the other audience will like it. I also don't really like shovelknight a recent title with so little history to get his smash appearance so early I'm all for him beingin smash, just not now. and pokemon..i do like pokemon but it just isn't exciting unless its a complete new gen which i doubt it is..i still need to beat pokemon Y haven't touched it in a year =/

but none the less. I'm not disappointed in these might be announcements, because they still new announcements that might not be targeted at me but i'm sure plenty others are happy about them.

An entire direct was leaked. The hyrule warriors one. The video was leaked online half an hour before the airing on the official channels

Whaaaat?

The only one "dun goofed" situation I remember is Nintendo starting Digital Event 2015 on one of local EU Twitch channels 15 minutes earlier than needed, but they haven't aired much and restarted the timer.

Weak Direct if this are the main topics IMO. But then again, this is a Direct focused on holiday to Spring Wii U 3DS titles so I guess it's ok. Please be real TPHD. And be a good HD remaster as well!!

i don't think capcom would make a new zelda because the director of those games, hidemaro fujibayashi is already working at nintendo, directed skyward sword and most likely is the director of zelda U

I´m pretty sure he's talking about Fujibayashi, who directed Skyward Sword. So yes, he's been working on Zelda.

I hadn't realized that was the same dude. I'm very glad to hear it. I'm a big Skyward Sword fan so that makes a lot of sense to me.

None because right on the page for the Direct it says no NX and no mobile will be discussed.

We have a confirmation for Twilight Princess HD being announced?

Smash always uses the Sakamoto/R&D1 developed Metroid games as the basis for Samus's design. Sakurai probably would of just ported her Super Metroid/Zero Mission inspired model from Brawl, like Fox.

Hey, works for me. Good way to keep hope alive a bit longer!

Basically, yep. But, TPHD being announced today isn't proven. And Minecraft is coming out in one month per PEGI. Any of the above could really be announced now or in the future. So nothing is confirmed beyond maybe Splatoon.

We have a confirmation for Twilight Princess HD being announced?

Nope. Not for today, at least.

What's the biggest announcement/reveal to ever come from a Direct?

If you're not counting E3 Directs, then I'd say the Wii U Jan. 2013 blowout with WWHD, Yoshi, SMTxFE and more.

I'm hoping we'll finally get an admission that 3D world was a repurposed 3Dland 2 and we're finally getting a real wiiu Mario
Me too 3D world was disappointing as hell as a fan of 3d Mario games.

Nintendo basically got away with releasing 3 2d Mario games for the Wii u. 3D Mario fans be thirsty.

Is it 4pm yet? That is when it starts for me. God, I can't want to see TP in HD, even it just barebones. I really can't emulate the game on my PC, and to play it natively in 1080p has me so excited.
